Well thanks for the suggestion, but power cycling didnt fix it.

I guess I'll have to take the PS4 Pro back to EB tomorrow and get a new one.

I think I just realized why I'm having no frame pacing issues on Pro.
I skipped the tutorial entirely (where it's happening). Seems like starting the game with the tutorial may be causing that issue to persist through the main game.

I'd recommend Chapter 1 of the game and then Kingsglaive - then back into the game but that's my personal preference. Wish I'd done it that way tbf.

You can complete it in under 20 hours but whats the point of that? That's like putting a prime steak in a blender and drinking it in one go. It should be savoured - enjoyed - to get the full experience.

Everything gets beaten to a pulp on Amazon Japan. It's an awful metric to use if you're trying to judge a game's quality.

I can either get the ps4 luna edition now or get just the game and stare at it till the ps4 pro is back in stock here (SEA) god knows when :( decision... XD

In a game where you can craft food that gives you 50% experience when post-8gb patch you get loads anyway..... plus you can sleep in places that give you 1.5x experience....

You can see how easy it is to become OP. It definitely feels like the easiest FF game so far. Literally nothing has posed me a threat yet but then as you say - in an open world game it's always going to happen haha

Does anyone have a problem starting the game at all, like they press New Game it loads and then you get kicked out with an error message, this happened with the Witcher 3 as well, maybe my PS4 is allergic to open world RPG's :(

I was bothered with the framepacing issues but now this bothers me more lol

It's 20 hours long in the same way that Skyrim is. Yeah, you can just do the main story if you want, but why even play games in the first place if all you want to do is get to the end.

The opening is still so bizarre. It would be a little better without the first "chapter 0" part, but it feels like a modern version of a "go forth, chosen one" NES style opening. The dramatic music didn't at all match what's on screen.

I'm probably missing something but shouldn't the lock-on stay on the enmy after pressing R1? Once I stop pressing it, the lock-on goes away. I figured this would be like Kingdom Hearts, where you press it once and stays fixed.

It only stays on while you hold it, DMC style. But you can press R3 while holding R1 and it'll stay fixed until you press R1 again to release it.

Is the game subbed in your language? I think there's some stuff subbed in portuguese that has no subs in english. I'm going back and forth between the two, and I noticed this.

May go full Japanese if some banters are not subbed in English

Be nice friend. Just fix your camera. Just because reviewers have problems with some fights doesn't mean they are also good. I will upload my fight later and you will see how you can dance in this game. Fixing the cam yourself has been recommended enough in here and you could start fixing it if you notice that it doesn't work for you. Also these people pointed it out BEFORE the new camera was patched.

Yeah, they're subbed. Only when you order food from a waiter, he mumbles some shit back; that isn't subbed. All the major and 99% of the minor stuff is all subbed.

Also, Japanese VO is great.

Well I spoke to my manager friend at EB and he said he had the same thing, he tried a different disc, installing from that and it was fine.

So hopefully its just the disc!

Apparently I have to wait even longer to play >_<

Do you seriously intend on playing only the main story then putting the game down? If not, then no it is not under 20 hours. There is a wealth of content to enjoy.

I was good with Youtube thumbnails not spoiling me, but now the game is out, it seems they are coming out in full force with their ending clips in the suggestions. Dammit Youtube. I don't think I saw anything too spoilery though, thankfully.

Time to quit Youtube until I finish this game.

You're the one who started with the condescending git gud bullshit. I used the settings people recommended before starting the game on 1.01, didn't helped much. Didn't tried the new options in 1.02, yet.

It's a bit of a ball-ache but if you are doing it for a hunt -

1. Arrive at a destination in the car and Ignis may mention it's not available until night and offer you the option to wait

2. Cancel the hunt - sign up for the hunt again. It gives you the option to wait until nightfall.

Other than that I have no idea.
