What's the yellow + sign next to some weapons?

EDIT:

Going to try starting again and skipping the tutorial.

Any way of doing it without deleting my old save?

I thought this actually! Xenoblade is a fantastic game and yeah I agree this FF feels more like Xenoblade than any other game I've played

Do not sell Metal Scrap or Rusted Bit if you have it - you need them first to upgrade

I skipped the tutorial and also don't feel any issue.

This wasn't the case with JD demo. I'll try it tonight (should be receiving the game later today).

The hunger i real now, reading all these impressions and knowing my game is downloaded and unlocked at home waiting. Still need to get of work, get home to my family, put the kids to bed early... (good luck) and distract my wife with something so I can play...:)

Yeah same boat. I'm at work so I figure I'll wait it out. I'll probably have to have my kid put the game in when she gets home from school so I can have that mega patch loaded by the time I'm ready to play this evening.

Lot of people thought I was off the mark when I compared FF15 to XC(X). I think most have come around to see that it is both accurate and a good thing :)

God, everything self-congratulatory just sounds like Trump now

Man Chocobos are great, that sprint, drift, stamina refill method is nice. Only thing missing is listening to your mp3 player when riding your Chocobo. Chocobo song is nice and all, but I want to listen to classic FF songs too.

Also I did the boss fight in Chapter 2 and it bugged out. The magitek dropship brought in a bunch of enemies so a ton of enemies started fighting me in the cutscene. This game has the goofy Bethesda bugs and I love it.

Check your email; you then have to go to a website where there's an insanely buggy series of minigames to do for a single sword. Enjoy!

So... If I understand well, it's recommended to do all the side quests to get all the interesting conversations between the characters ? The thing is that I don't want to be overleveled.

I just tried starting a fresh game skipping the tutorial and I'm definitely still getting frame pacing issues on the high pre-set on PS4 Pro.

Just the Gourmand Set. From what I can tell, you can make Pizza every time you camp and it gives resistance to poison, a hefty HP boost, and endurance (unlimited running without using stamina).

You can't have both unfortunately. Side quests - definitely make you OP.

For duders and dudettes asking about the Amazon Road Trip DLC, FYI, most people in that separate thread got their codes sent this morning (after clicking on the "Redeem DLC" button at the roadtrip.amazon.com site) but it went to junk/trash/spam folders because it's from a donotreply@ email address.

If you're still waiting on the codes, check your spam. I had no issues redeeming all 3 codes through PSN this AM.

I did all of those. I'm actually waiting for the redeem code for that to show up. Also for those who have issues with the mini games, use your cell phone. It definitely seems that they were designed for mobile phones and not desktop PCs. I had zero issues once I started using my phone.

Out for delivery yay! Got my code for the chocobo car from Amazon, but having a problem with the road trip DLC, I redeemed the DLC, said the codes would be emailed, yet I get nothing?

No, just play at your pace I do recommend not focusing your entire time on sidequests tho. Unless you encounter a cool one or if you're having trouble and wanna lvl up a few levels.


Quick tip for everyone: if you're annoyed when the freeze cam happens when you give a potion (or any item) or when one of the bros dies and they have that dramatic slow kill cam. You can disable that in the camera settings it's called (cut ally) toggle it off and you'll be good. The fights will be smoother and interrupted.
