You can always return back.. but there's going to be a point where it's going to be awhile before you can.
Auto correction on, Middle, tracking at 3 and removing the cut ally bs

Yeah you constantly heal even in battle. Certain foods increase the heal rate - as do certain ascension unlocks.
You can even warp to points and heal quicker or hide behind rocks to heal quicker
And you can use very inexpensive items like Potion to heal half your hp..... with no cooldown
and you can give your squad 'first aid' skills so they can heal themselves when they get hurt
Or maybe Noctis' journey was actually a metaphor for Matsuno's time directing XII, and they're just paying tribute to the source material. Versus XIII would have been outlined after the drama, maybe Nomura was inspired by the horror he witnessed.

Lmaoo carbuckle plus easy mode means you can literally never die. Not worth it to keep farming level 30 daemons using that though

I still loved 13. But 15 is a world a away from 13.
13 super linear guided experience. 15 throws you into an open world from the start. You are almost overloaded with stuff to do.

thank you! i'll give it a try when i get back from work. yah i got the game really early, at 82 hours already, clearing EVERYTHING i can before i advance the story. still at the chapter before you leave lucis.
i think i cleared almost everything you can do, before advancing. there are no more hunts available cept rank 8 ones i can't access yet. rainbow frogs were the last thing left.
even got all the weapons available for trading carrots and upgraded them all

XIII has a better battle system, better magic system, but less stuff to do. I guess XIII-2 is a better game among the three from a game play perspective, but it's just me.
Also, I really don't like XV's claimed enemy visible but sneaky random encounter system due to their less than optimal open world technology.

Nomura designed the main cast of FFXIII except for Snow. However he had no influence on their personalities and their writing. For example, he basically stated that he finds the name "Lightning" dumb and that he wouldn't have named her that if he had been the writer.

Supposedly really good? At least from looking over the impressions topic, everybody seemed impressed.
Snow was Nao Ikeda, but I think he designed the rest.
