Oh man this game is really making me feel great. If i just stop and think about it it's actually everything i wanted the next FF to be:

-epic adventure
-reasonable trophies
-music from previous FF's
-awesome soundtrack
-open world/free roam (WITH CHOCOBO'S)
-dungeons that actually are fun to play

Sure there's some stuff to complain about but in the end after 10 years of development and all the problems that they faces i feel they really pulled it off. Been playing now since saturday. Somehow all the shops in the Netherlands started selling it. Which made for a great vibe in the local gameshop with all these excited FF nerds openly talking about Noctis, 10 years and "I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY".

I'm almost 10 hours in. Just started chapter 3. I really don't care that i will be really overpowered. I just wanna have fun. Explore everything and make awesome memories with that odd bunch of fellas who i really started to care about.

Oh and i just had another amazing experience. Took my Vita to work and being self-employed i decided to try and see if i could remote play FFXV form the office with the PS4 being at home. It worked like a charm. What a time to be alive! Only to see the connection being cut and getting a phonecall from my wife saying: "stop gaming and get to work. Your son wants to watch Netflix!"

Oh well, at least i can play FFXV in the bathtub!

Lmao this is amazing on so many levels. That's good to hear it plays great with the Vita though, I'll make sure to tell my friend who has both.

Most of them use their original versions. The earliest FFs use the remake versions.

Actually it's not the standard insert. Mine came with one and there's a name just above Tabata's, Gavrenkov with one more Japanese name above it. Matsuno's one continues on above that. It's not the one that came with the EU deluxe anyway.

you get them from duplicorns.. . i forgot the spelling. there is a hunt for them lvl 29 in old Lestallum, get the break on their horns. took me awhile to find this too.. . i had to scour all the hunt poster pictures and look for which things had horns lol

Yes I know it's not an early copy but I just can't believe this day has finally come. I still remember the versus XIII announcement trailer all those years ago. I'm so excited to finally have my hands on it.

The steelbook really looks much better in person than on pictures. Also fits nicely with the Type 0 one.

It is solid 30 fps but with frame pacing issues. Depending on how sensitive you are to them, you might never notice them.

When you get to Duscae (Chapter 3), there will be a hunt to kill a Behemoth. After completing that quest the owner of the Chocobo ranch will grant you access to rent chocobos.

Personally I run mine on ps4pro with a standard 1080p TV (til my 4K arrives) and I havent noticed a single issue at all and I play on 'high' mode

DLC is locked on PSN but not on Xbox, so it won't work for you unless you get Xbox version.

And Season Pass is available to buy for $24.99, I think. I'd suggest waiting to see what is the first DLC all about.

I'm thinking they're different. The EU one and Matsuno's also have some other differences. Some of the signatures are in different places despite most being identical. Strange. Perhaps the JPN version omits a few signatures from the localisation team.

i use near. i somewhat play this game like monster hunter. All about sensing the tells and use near so i can see enemies better up close, holding defend until i see a good opening and positioning, and know for sure i won't be blindsighted by an off screen enemy, and never get greedy.

if i see too many enemies, and know i will get blindsighted, i go in for a single strike, then use a friend tech to use the invunerable frames, and it'll help separate the mob and get better positioning for link strikes.

it's funny, in monster hunter i always go for the head, in here, i always go for the back for the blind/link strikes.

going for link strikes, significantly made my battles faster
