Did anybody here beaton normal difficulty?Naglfar
Wait which dungeons do this? Thus far they've all beenNot a fan of the hidden door dungeons so far.
The combat, while good for a RPG, isn't satisfying or deep enough to warrant a 100 floor Bloody Palace - style dungeon.
There was an official Yusuke Naora artwork for the game featuring all the characters. I loved it and thought to make avatars out of it. Here are them. Feel free to use the one you desire.
Best girl is their accourding to twitter.>All characters
>Not best girl Iris
I'm disappointed.
Anyone know the name of the song or have a YouTube link of the guitar version of the save music when in chapter 13. It's so mellow.
Ch.is13but it will never be as offensive or outright terrible asoppressive and dull and doesn't represent any of the larger game's positive qualities.Costlemark
I think that's the point of (most) the chapter. You're supposed to feel powerless and alone. You're supposed to feel forced to put on the Ring (playing into Ardyn's plan) and struggle through. So that way when you do get everything back by the end of the chapter you will better appreciate your friends and the power afforded to you by the Crystal.
But that's just how I interpreted it...
Yeah, I hate that you can't just skip to any time of the day. I usually just browse Gaf while I waitI really hate that this game doesn't have a feature where you can change the time (aside from starting a night time hunt). I just made it to one of the optional dungeons and you have to wait until night to get in. Of course, it's so far off the beaten path that it would almost take longer to go all the way back to a diner to force night time than it would be to just wait.
I understood the intention and I appreciated the overall effect afterbut, like many have said, I think the same effect could be achieved with less tedium. There just don't seem to be very many ideas in play over the sequence.the reunion
That said, I did enjoy the chapter's story beats, particularly its ending.
I think I had to do that quest like 8-10 times. Make sure you are using a food buff that gives 50% item drop boost. Not sure where is the recipe or how to get it, but Ignis can cook it when you camp, provided you have it.
TIME has an interesting review of the game.
I say interesting, but I am mostly interested of the fact that such a huge publication reviewed it!
And the creatures inhabiting Final Fantasy XV‘s Earth-like expanse are downright Boschian.
In the game’s largest city, Venetian gondolas motor along waterways vaulted over rococo facades encircled by Niagara-scale waterfalls like a baroque version of Final Fantasy X‘s Zanarkand.
Wish there was AI controls. I feel like prompto is the Donald of this game. Dude is always in danger status. Like wtf.
I'm not sure what the point of it is honestly. At that point, you're already probably fast travelling everywhere.
Even crazier to think that I pretty much hated the game before I played it.

Never.
Hate fast travel.
I only used fast travel like once and it was by accident. And one other time when I ran out of gas, lol. It ruins immersion for me. Plus, I never get tired of all that old FF music.
I used it by mistake once too (
It still hurts.
It was during a main quest mission, too, so there's a good chance I missed on unique dialogue >_>
I'll get it on NG+, it's fine.
I tend to avoid fast travelling as much as possible. How much I can do it depends entirely on how interesting the world is to me, as well as how much I enjoy traversing it. So far, I'm having a blast planning my journeys around actual travel, and it ties into the game's main themes so well.
Plus, it helps that I won't have to deal with a massive grind to max out their skills, I'll probably get to the end of the game (or at least post game) with everyone maxed out already.
Brotherhood's soundtrack has the best driving themes, imo
The game's original driving music is the worst, though, I have no idea what they were thinking with that.
Costlemark Tower is really souring me on the post game and has me close to shelving the game for good. Grrrrr.
Fast travel here doesn't really ruin immersion here because daytime is pretty safe. Just imagine Noctis fell asleep lol. Plus all sorts of immersion was out of whack after chapter. Nighttime is different though, but then you can upgrade the car to avoid Daemons at night.9
