It took all morning but I finally managed to get the 3* Robin this morning. Though I already took my original 2* Robin to 4* and she's been my Takumi/MRobin killer ever since.

I don't have any OP units like Hector so those lvl35/lvl40 orb quests are probably out of my reach. Not that I won't be trying.

More FRobins is nice. I feel like I'll really want to level one the second I run into Horse Emblem in arena.

Eh, there's always a way. I'm sure the 3* free units youtube guy is already coming up with a strategy. My 'real' team wiped on Michalis because it was very unsuited for that battle, whereas the 4* scrub squad I created beat it with 0 damage.

From what I heard (and I could be mistaken), the 3* free units youtube guy never posed one for FRobin Hard.
I think it was because of the high RES requirement.

Subaki ain't saving your ass this time!

I forgot how bullshit FRobin's map was. Forget how I beat it the first time. Doesn't help that I have to bring Naverre with me now.

Guys, I got excited when F Robin special quests returned until I realized I beat both of them already. Not only that, but I was on a home sending spree to get feathers, well before Inherit Skill became a thing. I wish these battles would reset, it's pretty lame. It basically means I can never get F Robin again unless they make some kind of change.

Kinda burns my motivation to keep playing.

Huh, my -Atk Eirika leaves Hard GHB Robin at 1 HP. That is stupidly convenient for me.

Nino can solo that entire map with an Eirika boost, so that's cool for her.

Get Eirika boost, nuke axe guy. Blow up blue and red mage on enemy phase. Nuke lance guy. Blow up Robin on enemy phase. Yes, she can tank all that damage. She's +Spd/-Res, albeit with with Res+3. The other skills didn't matter.

Thanks. I forget how well Nino can tank magic damage sometimes.

I have a 4* Cherche and she has seemed pretty good but it looks like people are huge fans of hers based on some conversations a few pages back. What makes her so great? I got a 5* Hector and I can definitely see what makes him special especially now that I have the counterattack regardless of distance.

I think the idea is that she has a very high attack stat (one of the highest, if not the highest in the game?) and low speed, so it makes her an ideal candidate for a glass cannon Brave Axe+/Death Blow build. Between that and flier buffs, she can hit really, really hard.

That, plus she seems to have a huge fanbase because she's pretty.

Cherche is a classy lady, so she's popular. Every character in FE is "pretty".

Personally, I'm kinda torn about Cherche. Part of me likes her, but there's a part that keeps thinking that she acts a bit too much like a stereotypical horse girl.

5* Nino + 5* Sharena can kill everything (Nino) and bait FRobin (Sharena) so you can surround her and then chip away at her with Navarre or your own FRobin for the quest.

You could probably debuff a unit with a dagger user before trying to land a kill with a lower level Navarre/Robin for those "beat x with y" quests.

What everyone else said plus she has some great support conversations in Awakening (I'm fond of her x Donnel).

What makes you think I have a Nino or a Sharena?

I've got 3 3* Bartres and 4 3* Barsts doing nothing in my barracks, though.

I want a +ATK Jeorge. But I don't want to pull a cleric.

On that note, Est and Oboro continue to waste my orbs. Why does Oboro have Threaten Res? Why not Threaten Def?

Somehow I beat Lunatic Navarre wuth Male Robin, Female Robin (3*), Spring Xander, and Olivia (3*). Really wish I could save that replay. Male Robin took out the bottom ninja as usual with Olivia's help. The enemies came down on the left, and Robin took out the other ninja with Olivia's help. Navarre then poked Robin while Xander tanked a double attack from the hammer fighter. Robin + Xander killed Navarre. Olivia danced Xander to safety while blocking the hammer fighter. Female Robin chipped him. Next turn both Robins took out the hammer fighter, and Olivia danced Robin to nuke the healer (thank you Defiant Speed).

Finished all the Grand Hero quests. Fortunately I had already trained 3* Navarre to lv.40 4*, so those quests were easy. After training 3* FemRobin to lv.27 and taking out Navarre in 5-1, I was able to finish things off by getting Spring Camilla to soften up the enemy FemRobin.

Just ran into an interesting Armor Emblem team in arena. Hector x2 + Brave Lance Effie + Zephiel. The two Hectors both had Wings of Mercy.

I softened Zephiel but couldn't ORKO him with Robin, and then both Hectors flew in from across the map to attack the guy I used to reposition Robin from Zephiel's range.

Good thing I used Reposition with Ryoma. He was able to tank and kill both Hectors.

thanks and i keep forgetting about that inheritance fact. maybe i should buff up my mediocre nino now then too.

this is by far the most number of defenses I've had. Hector out front, with Linde/Olivia/Nino as the real muscle. I'm at least 15-16 or so.

I thought I'd get more defenses with a lower rated team, but I think people with very high point values are also more likely to be the type of person to surrender after losing one unit. And I myself am much more likely to go in against an armored unit lead whereas I'd consider backing out against a dancer or strong caster. Or Eirika. Eirika always has something nasty behind her.

Decided to throw my Lucina+1 with a rating of 187 into my Arena team. Bad freaking idea. So many 40+ enemies. Someone had a +5 Azura. I'm not even sure how that's possible. Only going to be using that Lucina for PVE from now on.

Was in the top 800 this weekend but now I got kicked out to 1029.. Thought I could get my first top 1000 this week.
