Gotta love it when you visit your doctor and all the nurses are talking about your muscles.

Here's a recent pic of me looking like shit, was posted in the pic thread, but I figured it could go here too.

Gonna cut after one round of 5/3/1 BBB unless told otherwise by a coach, still figuring that out though. Should hit 180 after cutting to 9%, at least. Not sure what I'll be at comp weight, but surely over 175.

Not to take anything away from Darth, bu the camera there is obviously at an odd angle givin him a disproportionate look. That's why his arms look so odd compared to say his head and shoulders. The camera is obviously low and angled up instead of taken directly on.

Regarding Darth's pic, it is the arms that are huge from the training and workout, not that the head is too small. It fits perfectly onto the torso and rest of the body if you watch carefully.

He is into competitive bodybuilding after all, so big arms are a given.

Look, I'm not knocking him people. "You don't need to defend him, Darth is a big boy. I know Darth is a BB specimen, I'm commenting on how disproportionate he looks because in this picture he does. His arms don't go with his head/shoulders and his hips don't fit the rest of him. That's explicitly because of the angle/positioning of where the camera is in this picture. Hell, look where he center of the camera is, and look at how he's looking down. I don't know how this isn't obvious to everyone, or I'm just nuts.

Anyway, Darth you're a beast man, keep it up.

I thought you were commenting that his arms were that big because of how "low" the camera was and that he was cheating to get that effect. The camera looks like it's maybe a foot below his midsection.

oh I am sure you aren't knocking him or anything, in fact I agree that whoever thinks you are salty is complete wrong, you have shown praise for Darth in the past, and most regulars know you enough to see that that's not the case.

That being said, I watch the pic and it makes sense after staring a couple of seconds at it but that's me... is a matter of appreciation.

2 and a half chicken breasts and a salad bowl of: tomatoe - lettuce - onions - broccoli - spinach - beans.

I only started seriously eating veggies recently, that's why I add olives to hide some of the taste, but man is it a filling meal! It's only about 650 calories but feels like 2000.

Had a really bad leg day today. I didn't get any sleep Sunday night and felt like shit on Monday; my rest day. Today I woke up feeling terrible and postponed the gym until 9:45 tonight and it was just bad.

My squats and deadlifts were sluggish. My form was terrible and my pace was snail-like. Tomorrow's a new day I guess. Chest/Tri and HIIT tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will be better than tonight.

One positive thing is that I had a PR for deadlifts. It doesn't say much since I started doing them 3-4 weeks ago, but I got up to 210 at 5 reps.
 
This is so damn accurate! I really do look like a gorilla, even my head. I have that massive jaw structure, I hate it lol.

Also all this water weight. I've never felt this bloated ever. I really need to cut as much sodium as I can. I'm usually great at that, but I've been lazy with my diet lately thanks to classes (as you guys can see). It's whatever, just means I have to cut earlier, but I should still hit my goal.

Thankfully my freezer is now full of chicken, frozen berries, and broccoli. I've got 10 lbs of oatmeal, 5 lbs of brown rice, and a bunch of good snacks stocked up.

No reason I should even think of eating anything I didn't get from home now.

Not yet man, I'm still waiting for a buddy to get back to me before I make any decisions. There's also a show coming up here in my town that I want to go to and see if I can make any contacts. I'll probably have a coach, if I decide to go that route, by the end of the month.

Suggested by many as the ideal male bodytype because it is not threatening to females like huge muscles.

Yeah, several times, lol. The most recent was after my cut but I only got down to 218 (back at 223 right now). I even posted a shirtless pic much to the dismay of anyone eating at the time.

Athletic is just a natural body builder IMO. It's also shredded. Doubtful someone looks like that 12 months out of the year.

I guess I'm skinny fat with a bit more fat at the moment. Still working my way down. Scale hasn't gone down much in the past 2 months, but I'm definitely looking a lot better.

BTW, had a nice week off from diet and gym...just got back this morning. Could have powered through my bench press high easily but went for the extra reps this morning. Guessing it was because of the rest/extra cals?

213 to 189, 189 to 192...hoping I can gap down 192 to 185-183

This chart is awful. Athletic/Built are way off the scale even for most professional athletes. Hell, most athelets are closer to otter/builtfat. The Athletic/Built is not how most athletes look or would strive to look to do their sports.
