Fuck off...

Dale Jennings (Tranmere Rovers) is off to Bayern Munich for a medical before completing his transfer. He was voted League One Apprentice of the Year at the Football League awards.
LinkBundesliga giants Bayern Munich are preparing to return to Manchester City with an improved offer for German international defender Jerome Boateng, whom they see as the ideal candidate to strengthen their leaky defence.
Bayern are thought to have bid 12 million, with City believed to be demanding closer to 20m, but reports last week suggested that an agreement in the region of 15m could be reached between the two parties.
In the event that Bayern fail to capture the versatile defender, who can play anywhere across the back line, they will look elsewhere. Chelsea defender Alex and Barcelona's Gabriel Milito have been mentioned as possible candidates to fill the gap in central defence.

So, Boateng-saga should end this week.

It shocked me because I saw it on SSN and didn't expect a huge foreign team to buy someone from a lower english league, doesn't happen to often. They probably just checked his youtube videos ;pelseanio said:Well, he played all of last season for Rovers, and was a standout player most games. I'm sure they (Bayern) had plenty of opportunities to look at him. Saying that, maybe a bit of pace is all you need to stand out in Div 2

Awkward.

personally, I think he's a good signing but not better than kolorov. Kolorov played pretty well whenever ive seen him play and he has some sweet free kicks. A good second choice though. Now that he plays for city, seeing Nani and valencia get the better of him is going to be brilliant to watchKermit The Dog said:But clearly he's thinking mainly about winning stuff, something Arsenal hasn't been very good at lately. I think Bayern got him with the same thought as Usami. A player that has talent (does Jennings lol?) but nobody knows how he'll do at Bayern. They also only loaned Usami.elsk said:He most likely will play for the Bayern II first.

So, when the inevitable Robben/Ribery injury happens they have two young players if one fucks up.
Figc (Italian FA) chief investigator Stefano Palazzi believes Inter are responsible for having committed sporting fraud during the 2005-06 season which subsequently led to the football scandal in Italy.
Speaking to Ansa, Palazzi said: "Inter violated the article relative to sporting fraud with regards to the possibility of taking advantages in the standings."
His comments are based on what has emerged from the current Calciopoli 2 trial at the Tribunal of Naples where evidence shows former Inter directors had contact with referees and a number of other high-profile Italian football leaders between 2004 and 2006.
Transcripts from wire taps identified by the Tribunal of Naples showed Former Inter president Giacinto Facchetti had regular contact with former referee designators Paolo Bergamo and Pier Luigi Pairetto.
Palazzi also claimed Inter were "directly responsible for having secured an advantage in the league standings by conditioning the regular function of the referee sector."

John Cross on twitter says the deal will happen, even though it has hit a snag. Cesc to Barcelona that is. I think he is pretty credible regarding arsenal stuff.

Probably will happen in the next hours.
The guy has wanted to leave for a while and hasn't played to his best. There have been several games where it looked like the guy just didn't give a toss. While I understand his contributions one needs to understand that this guy has been going downhill for a while now in his performances for us and that is the main reason why I say good riddance to him.Kweh said:Clichy gave us a lot of good years service and is the last of the Invincibles to leave, so I wouldn't say good riddance to him.
However, ever since that game at Birmingham, he's never been the same, and the culprit for many of our defensive blunders.

SSN just showed stats provided by Opta which showed that he won more tackles and created more chances than any other left back in the Premier League last season. He was heads above Cole and miles above Evra who came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
