The fuck?! Pirlo's in Juve? Oh my God! What the hell is happening, I missed something big.

As far as I know, there wasn't a lot of noise surrounding him signing for Juve. He was coming in on a free and it was toward the end of May. Am I the only one surprised he's only 32? Dude looks like he's about 40 and I feel like he's been around forever.

The brazilian press is saying that Barcelona and Real Madrid offered 45 million Euros for Neymar. Madrid wants him now, and Barça said they can wait one year and half for him. Neymar wants to stay in Santos at least til the end of 2011, and only he can decide his future.

http://esporte.uol.com.br/futebol/u...intos-e-encaram-desejo-de-ficar-de-neymar.htm

Does Neymar really have that much potential? 45 MILLION for him, that's more than barca was offering fabregas!

Can someone comment on him if they've seen him play?

Yeah and it was rumored for quite some time before it actually happened.

Just seen this. Hope it's true, good to know that he wants to leave in the knowledge of our interest. Could give us a strong chance of getting him. City and Chelsea will make better offers in terms of money, hopefully if we have a bid accepted he sees us as the club most likely to give success and improve him as a player.

If anything I would like it to be announced that he is either leaving or he's not. This shit has gone on too long, and it's kind of funny how a bullshit rumor from a month ago is turning out to have some weight. If names like Mata are announced as replacements, then all the power to him.

Well played Tottenham, if this really is the end of it then you've done a good job there.

It's funny how decisively Spurs have acted in comparison to their North London rivals Arsenal, who've pretty much accepted incoming attacks from all angles. When was the last time we heard 'Nasri will not be sold?', if at all.

With the United bid in, and Nasri intent to move I think Arsenal's best bet at this point is to sell him and buy a replacement as soon as possible. As much as it pains me because I want him at Liverpool you guys could easily replace him with Mata, who I feel is a better player.

He must be open to the idea of Arsenal if we have made a bid and considering the Mata rumours from earlier today the conclusion to this shouldn't be far off.

The thing that makes it impossible for us to do that is that Nasri has 1 year left. We could tell him he's staying but then we wouldn't make any money. Unfortunately, Nasri's holding all the cards in this situation.

Are you talking about Valencia signing Piatti?

Exactly, that's the difference. I'm sure Arsenal want to tell Nasri, no, you're staying. But they can't. Not with any great convinction anyway.

Amazed it has come this. When those quotes "let's see if the United interest is real, then talk" came from him I took no notice of it. Now, it seems, and I hope, there was something more behind it. Perhaps this is too much speculation but do you think Nasri had on eye on a move from a few months back and that's why his form tailed off a bit?

I really hope they sign Nasri. He is a blast to watch play but he really had no room to shine at Arsenal.

I don't think he'd have a reason to stop playing well. If anything it would make him look worse to outside clubs. TBH, all of Arsenal, sans van Persie, played like shit in the last 2 months. I can't really quite place my thumb on Nasri. It makes me upset because I really like him as a player. I honestly believe money is important to him and it's almost as if he was using it as an excuse to get Wenger to let him move on. I don't know. It feels really hard to let him move on to United, but out of all the great players that Wenger has moved on, NONE of them have ever played better than they did at Arsenal. I truly believe if Wenger wanted him to stay, then he would.

yeah, it was during a practice game against some swiss team...

he played his whole life for schalke, was always a schalke supporter, and schalke is considered as one of bayern biggest rivals. still, that kind of behaviour is just ridiculous and a shame.

i guess this is also sticking in some bayern fans heads. still.... who cares? we have the best keeper in the world and they keep complaining.

It will be really interesting to see the reaction Neuer gets when Bayern travel to Schalke next season. Hahahaha

I am loving Bayern fans.

Hmm if the player wasn't as good as Neuer I would get it. Neuer is class. Let's see how they feel if he wins you guys a CL or something.

Bayerns team looks strong for next season. Esp if you get Vidal.

You're wrong. It was at Trentito (Italy) for summer camp. Those aren't Bayern fans, they're Schickeria (ultras). We played against a local team of Trentino, not against some random swiss team.

Wenger already publicly stated he will not sell him to United. Out of the three home clubs that have expressed interest, I think the fans would be more upset about letting him go to Old Trafford than Chelsea or City

That's weird, they should love him for betraying their rivals and joining them.

Oh, btw, that sponsor logo looks horrible. Doesn't belong there, especially the GK kit. Juve's home kit is class though.

Yeah it looks like a bad MS-Paint job :(

that was a great game and a great result.

you're welcome btw :p

So guys, Atlético are demanding 45m now.. Rossi is still open for a move to Juve for 30m. Rossi is an Italian international who'd most likely stick around in Juve for far longer, but damn his mouth still smells like Barca's balls. I'd rather have Aguero, at least we aren't his back up team.

Which really doesn't make sense. Utd have done business with Arsenal in the past, and while they have also done business with Chelsea it should be the former which is less infuriating.

I would say Wenger should be looking to off load him to Man City. Not only does Mancini play a negative style of football (not that attacking), out of the 3 clubs Man City are the ones who are going to be the least threatening.

I still say that Arsenal can take City, Chelsea and Utd are a lot tougher so they can have Denilson. Hahahaha

Some United fan was having a go at John W Henry (LFC principal owner) on Twitter, the conversation went something like this:

Utd fan: Well what have you won then, you scouse american prick? [Utd fan conveniently forgets here that his club's owners are also American, but we move on]

JWH: Best looking owner?

Is this linked to some kind of ancient civil unrest within the different states in Germany then?

There is a bigger rivalry when it comes to United. For example, I have an irrational disgust for that team that I cannot explain. We enjoy playing Spurs at home because its an opportunity to put them in their place again as they think their the biggest club in North London - but when it comes to playing United, we are the ones with a point to prove. If he left for them, it would feel like he abandoned us rather than simply 'moving' to e.g. City/Chelsea. Ashley left for the money and the fans mocked him for it, but we didn't hate him for it. Adebayor left for unknown reasons but we didn't hate him for till he did that celebration. Nasri leaving like this to United would be the biggest betrayal in at least a decade; he would become a hate figure because the fans loved him.

Haha. Taking the piss out of H&G as well.
It's great to have such a smart owner. Talking and joking with fans on twitter is a far cry from Blow me Fuckface-gate of last year.

Haha.

(Considering United fans are not fond of their owners I think the incentive to call him an American prick was all the greater lol)

It would have been interested to see how the Bayern ultras would have reacted if van Gaal hadn't given Kraft some play time last season. I know, it's still the die-hard Schalke fan in their goal but what would have been the other option? Those Bayern ultras got a crazy Kraft fetish after he alone saved Bayern's ass against Inter in the first match.

And I'm sure Kraft will be a very good goalkeeper in the next years, but if you have Neuer waiting for you to call...

van Gaal: fired for months, still fucking you up :p

Is that common with Arsenal fans?

There is a feeling amongst United fans that the rivalry has died down since Viera and Keane left and Arsenal not challenging for the title towards the end of the season.

Almost every Arsenal fan I know says they hate United more than any other team.

Very different on this side of things, but meh. The rivalry was purely on the pitch and for 6/7 years. Those matches were awesome though.

It's less about the drama now and more about match performances and results. Because of United's record, they are the team to conquer before you earn the title. Beating United has become more of an importance to Arsenal fans as the years have gone by without success. The dodgy results and penalties at OT are still not forgotten. I maintain till this day Rooney dived for the 2004 penalty and also this one:

....and the dressing rooms especially when pizza was nearby.

But I do miss those matches, it just isn't the same these days.

Yeah, but lets be honest, Nasri has pissed on his relationship with Arsenal fans with what he has done in this transfer window. You compare Nasri's actions in regards to his contract negioations to that of Cesc Fabregas and it paints a very clear picture that Nasri doesn't give a toss about Arsenal fans.

But yeah, selling such an attacking option to Utd given that they stand in our way of the premier league is just something that I can't see Wenger doing. Wenger publically stated that he wouldn't sell to Utd, which basically says it all in regards to what our club thinks of this.

Wotcha, lads. What have I missed? I hear Adam scurpered off to Liverpool. Any idea how much they paid for him? Quite a good buy, that is. And is Nasri gone to Man Utd yet or what?

Juve - Inter is way more entertaining than Madrid - Barca imo.
never have the chance to watch italian league matches, hope to catch this game in the next season.

If you buy it you're dead to me
lol, I can't allow that to happen, from now on I will whole-hartedly support juventus in the Serie A next season AND i'll buy this ;)

Edit: Hope the nasri deal will go through over the weekend but it seems like arsenal will sell to city or chelsea :(
Rossi wouldn't be too bad at juve but hope they get Aguero, mainly because id rather have rossi back at united.
