I propose opposite week, nobody is allowed to talk about their own club

Disclaimer: This is because I don't give a shit about City but nobody else cares about Rovers.

You could always spam the thread with posts about Blackburn Rovers, and insult United fans to get them to talk about your club. Seems to work for other people.

Soccer GAF deserves to see this:

River fanatic reacts to his team losing away game on the brink of relegation

Seven minutes of ensured laughs. On our side, at least. This video, in less than 10 hours, went from youtube to every major TV channel. It is that good.
This is so great. :lol

I have a good Argentinian friend I sometimes meet for drinks or random football related activities and I could listen to him talk for hours and hours. He uses a ton of the same expressions as this old guy.

In make up news day Aquilani to sunderland, it both makes no sense since we have just signed a few players in that postion and still look to land gibson, and wouldnt we have struck some sort of deal when we sold liverpool henderson. Good god i wish places would be called up on there bullshit stories when they turn out to be utter shite then we wouldnt have half of the crap thats printed and makes websites.

Goal.com report that according to Sky Italia Arsenal have agreed a £22.2m fee for Nasri with Manchester City.

And Adebayor and Bellamy, sensational judges of character both, are complaining that Mancini is

a) a git
b) an inept man-manager

Celtic v Perth Glory, 1-0 HT. This match is putting me to sleep, zzz. Some seriously vicious tackles from Perth for a friendly, though. Seems like Australian referees are just as bad as they are in the SPL. Their player Burns seems like he's out for blood, someone needs to calm him down.

I'd quite happily watch him all day pissing around with that daft hat on. Ballotelly, anyone?

Everything he does he does like a boss. He almost seems like a comedy character even. Dammit, he's awesome.

Aye I think he's a pretty shit player, or at least he was last season but every time I see him I can't help but laugh, that hat and those glasses were just ridiculous. Watching him skulk around the City lounge and have secret rendezvous with women is hilarious.

And also that Micah Richards laugh was infectious.

I can believe that. Someone who can't see the worth Bellamy offered our side has to be someone incapable of dealing with the rigours of a vastly different range of personalities.

I still think Bellamy and even Adebayor have something to offer City, so it's a shame it will end like this. You can't argue with Mancini's record though.

Mancini knows what he was doing. He shipped them out last year and apart from the Balotelli and Boateng bust up in training it calmed down a bit. The nature of their characters probably leads to unsettlement.

Bellamy is a great player though.

Anyone who gets at Rio like this is a legend in my eyes:

Bellamy went to the Nou Camp and scored which to me makes him a decent player. It's just a shame he seems a bit of a cunt too, the infamous Riise incident as an example. You can score as many goals in Europe as you like but if you hit one of my favourite left backs of all time in the shins with a golf club you are, to me, a despicable cunt.

Like you say though he seems to have a decent amount of passion on the field which is a good trait, and one Carragher praised in his autobiography. Similarly though Rafa had to ship him out just like Mancini seems to have.

Going back to Kermit's post, whilst I respect Mancini for what he did last season I still maintain that his biggest weakness as an aside to his man management is his transfers.

If Tevez leaves you're left with Balotelli and Dzeko, two strikers no where near good enough for a team of City's newly found ambition. I've seen them both in person and on the telly last season on more than one occasion and they were mediocre at best every single time. I've told the story before but my step dad (a Blackburn season ticket holder) broke his arm on the day of the City match so I ended up going to keep my mum company and I couldn't believe what I saw. Balotelli that game was astonishingly bad, in both a technical and attitude kind of way. If I thought he was a bad acquisition prior to that game I left perplexed, and before someone chimes in with his decent performance in the FA Cup final, one game doesn't make up how badly he performed for the previous months.

And as I've said today, it's nothing personal because Balotelli seems like a pretty decent and humorous guy off the pitch.

I like Bellamy. He is a good player and obv a bit of a dick at times, but he comes across really well in his interviews.

Not surprised Mancini ditched him though, Bellamy is good, but he isn't that good that you can't do without him. City have good enough players in his position to say thanks but no thanks.

Stephen Ireland has been given the number 7 shirt at Villa. Oh Geez.

I dunno. I used to really rate Ireland very highly indeed. If he can find the form and fitness he had when he was at his height when at City he'd be fucking formidable.

Yeah the jury's still out on Balotelli and Dzeko. When Tevez wasn't there and we needed them to step up, they offered very little.

In terms of Bellamy, he offered a spark that none of our forward players possessed (aside from Tevez) and Bellamy always stepped up and added that bullocking run and pace when we needed it. He and Tevez played very well together. I'll always love him in the same way I love Tevez, they always give 100% no matter what.

Finally saw the new Chelsea jerseys out in the wild, and in America that is no easy feat. I like the away more than the Home. The long white arm stripes are shit on the Home.

Been out of the footballing loop for a couple of days and I come back to find Essien injured?! Come on...

Also this Man City stadium deal - not to sound overly cynical but the largest EVER stadium deal in ANY sport happens to come from the same area that the Man City owners are from? It sounds a little more than convenient.
