i guess fener will face punishment in 12/13 season (season after next). everything should go on as normal until the investigation is concluded and court proceedings end.

Police said their are 19 cases of evidence that support match fixing yet nobody has been punished.

Nothing will happen.

You're right, but this is not the case with Aguero. I remember him saying before going to Copa America that CL won't be a "decisive factor" in his decision. Besides, we're not Man City(with all due respect), expect us to qualify for the CL sooner rather than later. EPL is a lot tougher than Serie A, with a few buys here and there we'll qualify.

If you don't get Aguero you'll get Rossi and probably cheaper seems a win-win to me

Bummer about Essien not being able to play for possibly half a year! At least his surgery was successful. Chelsea fans, for those of you who have not seen Villa Boas' recent first press conference in FULL - check it out here, this being the first of five videos. One thing's for sure, this guy has got style and the most interesting character I've seen out of a football manager.

It's Costa ricas u-23 team. Basically a free ride for 3 pts. for argentina. Therefore not much of a challenge for the argie team.

True, but they were damn good before their defense was cracked open with that hard to earn first goal. The most important part here, is that Argentina's playing style was definitely different, and more importantly, Batista tried different things this time. His system for the first 2 games was quite different and sucked, to be frank.

And you only get to see that kind of footage on the best football website in the world.

Yeah the website was pretty cool! And lol at the team going to the wrong vehicle :p

Well this is certainly interesting...

Paddy Crerand on his blog:

http://www.patcrerand.co.uk/red-tinted-glasses/pre-season-tour-in-the-states/2762

Midfielders: Carrick, Nani, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Obertan again with Cleverley and maybe one new signing joining up soon after.

...

First game is 13th July in Boston so make sure you tune in on MUTV for that one and we might just see one more signing to really light up the new squad, let’s see what happens over the next few days.

I'd trust him over the majority of papers, but maybe I'm misreading and he's just speculating?

Online members ticket sale is a bit of a joke so far. Been sat in a queue for 45 minutes, still not even managed to get on to the site. Some people have been waiting over 2 hours.

All this and the only games on sale to all members today are two Category C games. I don't want to imagine what it'll be like on Thursday when the majority of Category B games go on sale.

sounds like good news if true.. means they will spend less time baiting Fabregas and trolling Arsenal

I doubt it, now they'll probably offer us less money and come up with an even stupider reason than they have now.

Good luck getting a decent ticket. They're mostly sold out already..

Edit* £84 for games v Wolves and Swansea in crap seats... I just can't click continue! Gonna hold out for a Kop ticket on General Sale.

Obertan, huh.

I'll need a signing to alleviate the depression caused by Obertan being mentioned as a regular midfield prospect.

Yeah, I don't think the CL is even that big an issue in this case; what's hurting Juventus the most is that they can't pay the astronomical fees and salaries that the English oil-igarchy and the two Spanish sides can. And Real in particular are helped, as all Spanish clubs are, by the insane tax loopholes high-paid players can exploit.

Yeah I'm waiting for returns or general sale as well for those. I can't afford too many tickets right now but wanted to go to Swansea. Finally got on the site after about an hour and there's only crap seats left as you said.

If Manchester United wanted him, they would get him. They have dibs over Chivas players. Also, didn't Fierro say he wanted to stay in Mexico for a few more years?

I never believed that Man Utd Chivas deal. Wasn't it just speculation stemming from the price they paid for Chicharito? Anyway I don't think Vergara is selling players early and especially not to Arsenal.

maybe SAF'll pull a rabbit out his hat and we'll get somebody like Gourcuff although he seems to have stagnated in his development. funny how 2 seasons ago I thought him and Pato were locks to be world class status.

I don't think it was an actual deal, but more so just agreed that they would continue relations with one another after the Chicharito signing. And yeah, Vergara wants to keep the youngsters. Fierro wanted to replicate Chicharito's process of going to Europe, but when money comes your way it can persuade you to think otherwise.

Also, supposedly someone has pictures of Guardado's dong. God fucking damnit, Mexico can't stop bringing lulz.

:(

Ledley King has another knee operation

Poor guy, just can't keep himself fit. Only supposed to need 10 days to recover so hopefully he's back playing this season but what bad luck. Definitely one of the best defenders in England on his day, Spurs would have finished higher up in the league last year with him involved week in week out.

For me his career is pretty much over, he should be strongly considering retirement.

He most likely will at the end of this season. But we shouldn't be in any rush to retire a player of his quality. There aren't many better defenders in world football.

Only Young's over there. Jones isn't going and De Gea's going over later I think.

Jones should be going. Didn't his girlfriend tweet that he will board a plane on Friday? I think that's what I read on the caf.

Definitely, but I hate to see classic players stick around on the sidelines for prolonged periods of the season at an old age. Like what happened to Woodgate, although is injury crisis is a little more severe and another example Hargreaves. I'd want King to take up coaching with us though, I think that would be nice.

Maybe, my thought was that him and De Gea were being given time to rest post U21 championship. But then Cleverley's out there sooo.

Fucking Udinese shake my head at that lot, why would you sell 3 out of your 4 best players and the backbone of your side when you've got a CL qualifying spot? Thankfully Juve and Roma have made the right changes so unambitious teams can stay the hell away from Europe specifically Serie A's CL places. Player factories for the big clubs need to stay where they belong around mid-table

I say 3 out of 4 on the realisation that Sanchez will join Barca, joining Zapata and Inler who have signed with Villarreal and Napoli

Rossi has apparently agreed personal terms with Juve. Now we just need to hope Villareal are more open to negotiation than Atletico were.

I've heard Melo will be part of the deal as well which is a shame because i thought he played pretty consistent last season too.

Good for the national team since Rossi will be playing with Matri upfront.

Oh I thought you meant that Jones wasn't going at all. My mistake. Yes, he should be going later with De Gea.

Rossi is going to be a fool if he goes to a team that doesn't play CL.

But, moenyz.

It's not all about money with some players you know.

Besides Juve will be most likely qualify for CL next season and the prestige of the club should be enough anyway.

He is far more likely a starting place for Italy at euro 2012 playing for Juve then at Villarreal. Just has to transfer his form and goals in La Liga to Seria A and he'll be one of the first picked.

And he can't have a place for Italy playing in one of the best teams in one of the best leagues around the world, and moreover, playing CL?

The answer to your question is pretty simple: look at the amount of playing time he got at the last World Cup, while he was playing for Villareal. With Champions League football, no less!

2009/2010 Rossi wasn't as good as 2010/2011 one.

He has grown a lot this season, let him continue.

Love the guy, and now we're well stacked at CM for our European nights domestic cup matches. I like both Shelvey and Spearing but it looks like one of them should go on loan. And what's up with Aquaman? Pretty sure he doesn't want to be here but I haven't heard anything since Juve declined on picking him up

TalkSPORT(shite)'s man in Italy says United have lodged a bid for Sneijder at £35 mill. and that Inter are willing to sell.

I can dig it.

Please be true.

United needs a top tier midfielder as Sneijder.
