We are shit in front of goal, costing us SO many points since City. Weird how deflating an innocuous mid table finish is when I'd have given anything for it in December.

Their main scorer, John Guidetti, was a loan from City. Will be interesting what he'll do this summer. Best case would be a PL loan, but he might want to leave instead of loan.

That Guidetti loan has worked out well, yeah? Boy, I dunno what we're gonna do with him next year.

My fiancée is still sleeping in the next room so I had to just cheer with fist pumps and the caps lock button on my phone, haha.

Guidetti was great. But Feyenoord have proven the last few matches that they don't really need Guidetti. Regardless, Guidetti is a club hero now lol. Also, Koeman (Feyenoord manager/coach) is in talks with Barcelona for another loan ;)

No CL, you wont make it past qualification silly.

:(

Also, lolPSV and lolTwente

That weakness is nothing new though.

We've gotten away with it for the last few years though. This season we were really shown up over our lack of quality in midfield.

We had to ask a 37 year old retiree to come back ffs. I'm still probably grasping at straws but I'm hopeful that we'll actually make some signings for our midfield.

We need a new creative player and someone that will shore up the midfield too. And a new full-back.

Lol, at least it was money well spent - except for Kaka, Coentrao, Altintop, Sahin . . . nevermind.

At least we have Ronaldo :p

Altintop came free and Sahin were 10m but he came injured, let's see how he does this pre-season to judge.

Coentrao for 30m is a fucking joke. And Kaká... blergh.

doicare is nuts, but tbf, somebody made a point and they were so deadly wrong I can't blame for doicare showing them up.

And even then he counted what is believed to City's most expensive player as a free transfer :lol

This is true, but there have also been some big expenditures by United that aren't listed, such as Berbatov.

The original argument is missing the issue, anyway. The issue with Citeh has never been the amount of money so much as how they've come across it.

Villa look like a Championship side.

And seeing that City transfer fee list reminds me of just how much money they've made selling players in the last few years. They've brought in so much cash and haven't reinvested it (or reinvested it well) at all.

I don't think that number is that much higher. They've both spent quite a bit. Plus verbatim wasn't even counted in the money because he isn't even on the bench. Plus, the argument is a silly one as well.

Yeah tired and pointless argument.

Footy-GAF, never change.

If Man City's team is soooo superior to Manchester United's how come they can only draw level on points with United for the entire season, all whilst United had over half there first choice team out injured for half the season?

hehehe

Well, Can't say I'm surprised but we play quite well. Was always going to be a tough game.

If Villa hold on here that's a great result for us, basically we have to win at Everton next week and hope Arsenal or Spurs lose. It's going to be one hell of a day.

Congrats to City-Gaf!

Edit: Yes Villa!
