I just started playing FM less than two weeks ago and I have 38 hours on it already. And I've never even played past Christmas. I keep starting over because I find out I completely missed out on some important part (like I had only one coach where my board recommended me to have 5, so my players wouldnt be improving). THIS time I'm sticking with it, though. Yessir. Top of the table and unbeaten, Carroll, Kuyt and Suarez all on almost 1:1 goal:game ratios.

I cannot believe I spent money on FIFA Manager 12. It is fucking abysmal. Back to Football Manager.

Someone from GAF should know better than that. I bought championship manager for like 1 euro (they had a "pay what you want" offer) a few years back and that was so fucking trash. Then I tried fifa and it was even worse.

I wouldn't worry about things like that with the coaches, I don't always do it immediately, they'll start improving when you get coaches in. Also the board thing is a maximum, go onto the training screen then coaches (if you haven't found it already).

That tells you how good the coaches are, thats what is important.

Juventus were scouting Angelo Henriquez at his last game.

Stay away you bastards.

Leverkusen sporting Director, Rudi Voller (fucker who didn't want to sell Vidal to us), was at the Boca - U de Chile match too. He was scouting a few U de Chile players. If he took a plane all the way to Argentina and Chile, I'm pretty sure he is going to take a few of those guys with him.

I've never played it, but I could have told you that!

I got it through the Indian store and thought it would be at least be a little fun. But it doesn't even tell you when the other team scores sometimes :/ I shall play Football Manager again. I have 27 hours this year as I didn't play as much networked games.

Rudi Voller is a glorious man.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
According to Gazzetta dello Sport:

Villas-Boas agrees three-year Spurs deal
.

Mutterings that the idea is to have Tim Sherwood (our excellent youth director who survived the recent cull) as a DoF-type with Villas-Boas in charge of team affairs. Levy is in Holland at the moment sorting out the Vertonghen transfer and apparently making inquiries about Huntelaar (who is still part-owned by Ajax).

I doubt Huntelaar would want to leave Schalke since they are playing CL next season. Unless a better CL side offers him money.

Would really like to see AVB back in the Premier League. I think he's got a lot more to give than he was allowed at Chelsea, despite the many mistakes he made. The problem is, with his previous records, people either expect a magnificent run like at Porto, or relative disaster like he achieved at Chelsea. His character as a young, exciting manager with huge aspirations means this is the case and he'll be under pressure from day one because of what happened at Chelsea.

One positive for Spurs fans is his signings have been spot on, from what I can tell.

Look at what he has done with a very miniscule transfer budget. He finishes above plenty of teams with expensive squads.

His teams are very annoying to play against as well, especially if you are a more fancied team. He certainly gets the most out of what he's got.

Highest is 1025x1455. Would look ok on A4?

No idea to be honest, google seems to say that wouldn't be that far off the standard for a4 poster. Went to a printing place to have a few big posters printed out earlier in the year and they pretty much told me that half of the stuff I wanted to get printed out would look pretty shitty (even though it was in what you would normally call huge res). So only ended up getting 2 printed. It's pretty great to go there and not just order some shit online, they will give you a better idea of quality and what not.
