Million reasons to, there's so much glorious detail in the books not even mentioned in the show.
Plus, the book doesn't make Arya a well pampered faux granddaughter at Harrenhal.

Because you get so much more in depth with the characters, and with the way he uses perspective throughout the book with each chapter being from the PoV of a different character you see the world in a way you couldn't otherwise. Plus, you can learn about a lot of the secondary characters and they all are extremely interesting. There is so much in those books that HBO just doesn't have the money to give it all justice, and all of it deserves justice.
Also, I prefer reading to watching because I like to see things the way I do, and I almost always think the choice for characters, or setting direction isn't as good as the way I saw it.

Not particularly. I'd take McCarthey and *maybe* Moses, except he has no end product whatsoever, but he is fun to watch.
Could have been worse. Given time I think he'll be good but still should have had more to prove rather than just saving Wigan every year. If he was comfortably finishing top 12 with that squad then yeah.

I love IJ so much, one of my absolute favourites.
Moses would be an improvement on Downing.
This is what I'm currently doing. Still on the first book, 500 pages in. Even though I know what's happened cause of the TV show it's still bloody amazing.

Statistically Heskey would be an improvement on Downing. (Available on a free as well.)
I'm not sure they need a player like Moses. He's not a winger. He takes up a lot of the same positions as Suarez.

I can't see past Germany winning it. I think out of the big boys Italy and France are dark horses, while Croatia and Denmark have the potential to shock.
Ireland will defy logic.
