Yeah I'm really really starting to think we're fucked now. It'll be some shit like "oh well we had to prioritize the match on Sunday so we couldn't possibly do any work on Friday or Saturday and then the game was on Sunday, so all we had left to work on was Monday!" That's how I feel like it's going to happen. I mean for fuck's sake, Bendtner is now our "like a new signing."

It's been like that all summer though with the Asia Tour, Emirates Cup, PL starting again and then qualifying for the CL. Wenger and the board have no valid excuses for not buying anyone at this point.

De Rossi will leave Roma if #MUFC increase their offer a few millions, €15m and it's a done deal.

Could you imagine my brothers meltdown if De Rossi was at United haha.

From The Graun:

If Bilbao refuse to deal with us then they could make us pay income tax on Herrera's release clause. Whch brings the transfer fee to €55m. This may be a no go.

Sid Lowe in Spain has been in touch and explained the Ander Herrera-Manchester United situation and it is a little bit more complicated than we first thought.

Sid confirms that the buy-out clause is indeed €36m but if the clubs cannot agree then the player would have to go to the league and deposit the money himself (and I think this is what happened with Sevilla's Geoffrey Kondogbia earlier this week, although his transfer to Monaco still hasn't gone through.

So if my understanding of this is correct, United would have to pay Herrerra the €36m for him to pay it to Athletic. And there is a huge problem with this as the money then becomes taxable at a rate o f 52%!!! And that is obviously almost €19m, which changes everything.

:lol

I'm not that big on De Rossi. He's great and all but we need young midfielders too.

Milan's goodbye to Boateng: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuePdotgOzU

So yeah, apparently they hated him so much they wanted to put a One Direction song in the video.

This just happened:

That might be too much Matri. That's a heavy number. Leave it to somebody else.

Galliani also said that they'll try to sign Honda before the end of the transfer window (probably today or tomorrow). If we get him we won't get Kakà, Galliani confirmed it. Still, we need a fucking defender, but whatever.

Been to see DM at #MUFC he's not sure whether he'll get players in. "I hope we do a little bit of business, but I couldn't guarantee that."

You know what Man Utd really need, but no one seems to be talking about? Another official tyre sponser.

From this bit:

Sounds like he hasn't expressed any intentions of leaving the club, plus there is the whole basque(?) element.

All roads lead back to Leon Osman.

Please understand.

Up until now, us bidding might turn his head and he might fancy a move.

I refuse to believe, he's Roma through and through. Great player, not too much money really which would balance out his age disadvantage.

By the sounds of it they're happy enough to deal, can't imagining them saying basically pay the clause otherwise.

You know what we got though? An official noodles partner. BITCH.

There was a conversation between Roma directors leaked a month ago where they reveal De Rossi will leave for the right price.

Talk about De Rossi refusing to leave Roma is exaggerated, a lot happened since that press conference a year ago.

This needs to happen, I'd buy a shirt with De Rossi on just to troll my brother.

Woodward you know what to do. Offer £10m + a freddo.

Good, remember this when we come for Capel too ;)

Tell me nice things about Ilori pls

Edit: Does the fact that a capital I and a lowercase L look the same piss anyone else off?

Edit edit: apparently not :D

If we can sell Bruma by the amount that has been rumored by the Turkish press, we won´t need to sell Capel that soon.

Ilori is quick, powerful in the air and he has a good sense of when to go for the tackle. He needs a bit of work and patience but he could do really well for you.

There's going to be too many people for just one team when 14 rolls around so we've had to devise a 3 tiered system:

1. Believe AFC

2. Believe BFC

3. I Can't Believe it's Not Believe AFC

You're in the 3rd

Me and HAT TRICK BROKEN are going to start our own club

We should get a shirt sponsor for the back of our shirt too, get a logo below where the player number is. You can have that one for free Woodward.

I don't care if it's been posted before, bask in it.

Also, it's a shame Bale's going but we're stronger for it. I'm glad I got to see him play in the flesh a few times. I have a video from the first row of him smacking a free kick against Inter.

I think you're selling #basedwoodward short. I've actually been following his methods in my day to day life with some startling and unexpected results. Today for example, I went into a top-end, swanky restaurant
Nando's
to get some food. After placing my order, the girl at the checkout told me that it would cost £14.55. I went to give her the required amount, but then thought myself "what would Ed do in this situation?". I started by offering her £8.00 for the food, and refused to increase my offer even though she repeatedly told me that it wasn't a sufficient amount.

Unfortunately, in this instance the checkout girl was immune to my incredible business acumen, and called security to escort me off the premises. I got a KFC instead.

Yup, Sid Lowe has no fucking idea what he´s talking about.

In these cases, the maximum taxable rate in Spain is of 43%, not 52%, but most important, there is an article/rule from FIFA´s regulation allowing clubs to pay the buy-out clause by themselves, without the player intervention. In that case, clubs are exempt from paying taxes on its purchases. Bayern did this when bought Javi Martinez.
