You easily have the worst opinions in this thread.

lol. Please. Defend that performance. Tell me what was GOOD about it.

Also aren't you the guy who wants Grenier but doesn't want Griezmann because he is a marginal upgrade over Podolski?

lol.

Just watched the press conference and was surprised by the number of questions about Zelalem.

Why is the American media so interested in Zelalem?

Like, I get that he has been touted as "the next Cesc" by some, but he's yet to declare for the United States and has made very few appearances in the first team.
Oh Jesus are you serious?

Christ alive.
It's just a bit cringeworthy mate.

What does your guys' first XI even look like at this point? Genuinely curious.

our line-up yesterday was:

---Artur---
Luis Cancelo---Sidnei---Cesar---Loris Benito
Ruben Amorim---Talisca
Ola John---Derley---Gaitan
---Lima---

not even close to our actual competition line-up. missing Luisão, Sálvio, André Almeida, Maxi Pereira, Enzo, Silvio, etc.

Bebe makes the starting XI

Salvador if you honestly think Liverpool fans use "Brendan's Battleship" as anything other than a cast-iron pisstake then you really need a cold shower.

Like, it's very etymology is a reference to when Rodgers described managing a football club as building an airship whilst it's in flight.

It's used to mock the absurdity of the analogy, nothing more.

Christ mate, you've lost your head with that one.

What? :lol.

I said the use of it was cringeworthy (to me) and deep down semi-serious in reference to Viva's cult comments.

That's it.

I'm surprised you're taking issue with me rather than him!

I hope Zelalem scores on Saturday and then pulls his jersey off to reveal a Germany kit, and then all the Americans weep.

We are trying to get van Aanholt done asap. Like, probably in the middle of the night so he can go to Portugal tomorrow. #desperate #AlonsNO #ripSAFC

This is quite a big deal. Our last specialist left-back, who we actually had tied on a permanent contract, was George McCartney. He basically left the club in 2010, though was injured for pretty much all of 2010.

4 years of loans or square pegs in round holes... and the runners of the club don't understand why we constantly struggle.

Life is gud.

Juve isn't. But about time they take a backseat for life

Love you all and everyone, except United's muppets

Has he been seen since Vidal-gate?

I fear the muppetry became too much for him after the Carvalho car crash.

Edit: I'm not good with reading when I'm drinking soz

Again, you're the worst.

Never wanted Grenier; that was some other crazy.

I'd want Greizmann if it made a lick of sense.

I understand Viva's point.

I see why it'd be annoying to hear fans talk of their team or manager like they're mates down the pub.

Getting irritated by a term that's essentially meant to make fun of oneself is just a bit odd.

Although I suppose in the context of last season I can sort of see why it's aggravating to some.

It does. Podolski sucks.

But lets get back to Superman. What did Cavill do well in that movie? Look buff and handsome?

He didn't say that though, he said the use of Rodgers' first name was part of the Liverpool cult.

Which is why I was a bit mystified about you taking issue with me.

I also didn't say that I was irritated by the use of "Brendan's battleship", I said I found it cringeworthy. Which is a bit different. And a completely valid opinion to have, in my opinion. Maybe you felt the same about the "Moyes boys" last season?

Requirements of playing Superman:

1. Have some kind of a presence
2. Be buff
3. Be good looking
4. Don't act super badly

tick tick tick tick

The movie was bad; Cavill was fine. Better than Routh. (not a high bar to hit, to be fair)

valeo and woodward stop arguing, you have Sanchsex, and the Wenger Zeppelin is floating high this season

And both ur names start with a lowercase letter, surely that counts or means something?

Beside the death of the English language

1. But he doesn't have any presence. He is like a cardboard cutout. He has absolutely no screen presence.

4. He can't act. Like, he isn't acting in that movie. He is just reading back lines.
