Iheanacho's touches from the first game he ever played for City (has not played with our U-18s or U-21s yet). Not bad for a 17 year old. They didn't show the assist of Zuculini's first goal though for some reason. Some of the stuff he did was really damn impressive: https://www.youtube.com/embed/wkCwL-O8kPQ

Wasn't able to watch the game today but I know he scored vs Milan as well. What a future this kid has. Sheesh.

ArseGAF we don't need a specifically specialist DM. A player like Vidal or Khedira alongside Ramsey could do a great job if they were coached right. Just like how Vieira and Petit use to operate. They need to know when one can advance and when one can sit back.

Wouldn't consider Schneiderlin a specialist. Just very good defensively. I am concerned about how well Khedira could break up attacks. He will also be 28 at the end of the season and just shredded his knee.

Vidal isn't an option.

De Telegraaf: 'Stefan de Vrij will sign for Lazio Roma'. Transfer fee: €8,5m. Feyenoord and Lazio have reached an agreement.

Markovic play for Liverpool yet?

Side note, Benfica's amazing pre-season continues with another loss, thats 3 in a row now. I know wins/losses in this stage dont mean much... but a win would still mean more >_>

How have they looked though?

Really bad? Just unlucky? Any positives?

Swansea have followed up interest in Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton with a formal enquiry.

Danny Rose is set to agree anew contract despite the arrival of Ben Davies from Swansea but Tottenham will allow Naughton, 25, to leave.

Thank you Jesus. Now sign Bony.

Carlo Ancelotti:
With this squad we can play well with a variety of options. First of all we have Benzema, who is very reliable. Isco can play as a false nine. It’s not such a big deal to have a centre-forward who scores lots of goals. We need a player to put the ball in for Bale or Cristiano. We’re not going to look for another striker, because we don’t need one.

looks like isco is staying (to be a false 9 like many here predicted), and Falcao, lukaku rumor was just BS.

It's been a long time since we did anything that slick. We're looking good so far.

Aren't they actually trying to comply with FFP this time? Due to buying Luiz they can no longer buy another expensive player unless they sell a couple of their players.

I'm sure that Marquinhos and one of Lavezzi/Pastore will be on the way out.

Read the last two pages and people are excited about Vidal again but other than the usual rumour nonsense I cant find out why :s

I'd hope something like that isn't too different or a culture shock for players at a club like Man Utd but you never know.

Moyes's training concentrated on most physical. Lot of running, endurance training. Less concentration on technique.

That is the major change from LVG. Even Fergie training was more about the ball.

Thank you god. Our young players will develop nicely under him. Last season I was so scared under Moyes after rumors and quotes from Everton players that he did not work much with the ball during training.

he didn't.

Großkreutz really is the best, living the dream of every football fan:

"I'll start pre-season on the 4th of August. I do this on purpose because I want to play in the friendly against Liverpool. Who knows if I'll ever come to Anfield Road again. I don't want to rely on the CL draw there."

Don't see how we could end up paying 80 mil for Di Maria. Fucking FFP's already getting in our way, hence the bizarre purchase of Aurier.

And Nasser has already said that we ain't selling Cavani, Lucas, Verratti or Marquinhos.

So Florentino can go fuck himself if he really is asking that price.
