Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Why you so harsh on Sherwood? He would do a decent job at wba without Pulis attitude when transfers don't go his way.

I'm not being that harsh on him, I want him to get a job. I want to see how he does without Adebayor and Eriksen. He certainly won't be able to play the deranged 442 he played with us, I'm curious to see whether he can build a team that can defend.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Inter’s offer for Lukas Podolski is ‘a joke’, and hopes the player will stay.

The Nerazzurri are believed to be close to sealing a loan move for the German forward, with representatives from the club meeting with Arsenal in London, and Coach Roberto Mancini admitting an interest.

However, speaking to reporters ahead of his side’s game with Southampton on Thursday, the Gunners manager has dismissed Inter’s bid.

“They talk. There is only talks. Podolski is a player of Arsenal football club and I want him to stay,” the Frenchman insisted.

“Apart from that, what is to be professional is that as long as you are somewhere, you give your best to justify your wages and your love for the club.

“I hope that he will still be an Arsenal player at the end of January.

“Inter? That is a joke. Inter is not serious

jokes :loooooooooooooooooooool

Pulis may not get the wba job over Sherwood as Pulis carries a lot of demands where he goes. Maybe wba not interested in Pulis' demands? I'm hopeful of Sherwood getting the wba job as he done a good enough job at Spurs to deserve a decent go at another club.

The dream is dead. At least we won't be spending £23m on Berahino.

Why fix what isn't broke, or indeed what is broke but you don't want to accept.

top 8 list of annoying football cliches

- dark times
- glides over the surface
- 'derby' when two teams vaguely near each other play
- Robbie Savage
- Jeff Stelling on Sky. YES SKY, complaining about there not being enough 3'clock kick offs in the FA Cup. Nearly died laughing
- every lower league #shit team is attended by four people and is 22 cave man booting it into the stratosphere and back. Only prem games are propa
- probably dark times again
- my club is bigger than your club. Yawn.

bonus round
- football clubs are a business and nothing more
- who really cares if a football player is gay or not.
- he is really good on FIFA/FM

Reason I rag on Sherwood is he is the perfect example of all that is wrong with management trajectories in this dear nation of ours. Instead of choosing from up and coming managers who have cut their teeth actually fucking managing other clubs, prem clubs seems to decide on a ever decreasing pool of british managers like Sherwood who get shunted into a job from picking up bibs or coaching the U12s. Like Warnock/Alan Irvine will be in the running for the next Prem job over Howe or Rowett and the like.

Until he gets injured again a few days before his comeback

The FA yet again proving that they are a joke by banning poor pubeless Jonjo Shelvey and letting scum like Sterling off. They supposedly brought in a rule for incidents like these so players can still be banned for violent conduct even if the officials seen it. It just goes to show that there is no consistency at all with these retrospective bans and the worst thing is that no one is surprised. You got Fellaini elbowing everyone and spitting on Aguero. No bans. Wilshere trying to headbutt him. No ban. Charlie Adam trying to break everyone's ankles. No ban. Certain types of player seem to just get away with it.

That's why he irritates me. In terms of managing senior players he's got as much experience as Alan Irvine.

He needs to work his way up the ladder like everyone else. His lack of experience with transfers, man-management, media duties, it's all obvious and will hinder him in the PL.

Same reason that people saying Giggs should get it is mental, innit. I mean, assistant manager at a club like United is a big job, and an important one (you only have to hear Fergie talk about McClaren or Queiroz to know that), but it isn't management.

I think Neville will have no qualms with dropping into a lower league to manage (or conversely, he takes the England job after Hodgson!), but I can't see it with Giggs. He's likely our next manager.

Rumours about Huddlestone to Palace. Would he really leave Hull already?

And:

"Incoming Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is keen on Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey."

Not sure that I'm keen on Shelvey. One nutcase at a time please Palace. Let Pardiola settle first.

Top 5 games now? Something like this:

1 - Ocarina of Time
2 - Metal Gear Solid
3 - Final Fantasy VII
4 - Mario Galaxy
5 - ICO

I haven't played any of those. I plan on playing your number one though, fear not.

I'm not a cultured gamer.

Have they commented on this? I suppose you could say Raheem's was provoked, they were at it all night, still no excuse though.

Former Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder believes Mike Ashley should go all out to land Borussia Dortmund chief Jurgen Klopp as Alan Pardew’s replacement.

Pardew is set to quit St James' Park for Crystal Palace in the coming days, after the Eagles agreed a compensation package with their Premier League rivals.

And former Mapgies boss Roeder claims Klopp should be the number one target to take charge of the Toon.

Dortmund may have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League but have struggled domestically and, with the team currently in the Bundesliga relegation zone, Roeder reckons the highly-rated German coach could be tempted to move to the Premier League.

“Newcastle need to find someone who’s very experienced, has managed in the top divisions and has a winning track record,” he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show.

“For once, I wouldn’t take a chance on anyone up and coming. You have got to give Newcastle fans a real character, like Chelsea did a number of years ago when they brought in Jose Mourinho.

“The first thing Mike Ashley will look for is an experienced British manager, with a great CV, but they are an endangered species.

“Whether you like it or not there are not many British managers that have got that sort of CV that is required to give the fans.

“Someone who does fit Newcastle’s bill is Jurgen Klopp. You might just get him at the moment because Borussia Dortmund are having a terrible season.

“He is a real character and is just the sort of person the fans could warm to quickly.

“He speaks very good English, has a great sense of humour and is obviously a very good coach. They may just land someone like that because, as far as British managers are concerned, they are not there currently.”

I didn't even know Glenn Roeder was still alive. What does he do these days. I must know.

We'll get John Carver and we'll love it.

were you born in 99? :p

I was a strange kid to be honest. My dad has been doing some buying and selling of games for over 10 years now. So I've always had access to all consoles up till current gen. I used to play on the SNES for some time as a kid. DKC 2 is my favourite game. I also spend some time on the PS1 with the Crash Bandicoot games, which I also consider amongst my favourite. Then on the PS2 I probably only played Jak & Daxter + Ratchet & Clank. Even though I had a NGC and PS2 in my room I hardly ever used them. Instead I bought my own gameboy and saved up to buy games for that with my own money. Meanwhile all those games were just lying around like a free games library and I didn't really use it :p

I've been getting much more into console gaming since the 360. At that point I had a bunch of friends who also had a 360 so we could do online multiplayer. And that got me more into gaming.

My new year resolution is to get my new passport sorted so I don't get refused entry back to the UK like I nearly did in February. My annual trip to San Francisco is coming up and I don't want to be stranded in the US and live out the rest of my days as Barney Gumble in a foreign land.

and to get a new phone yes

Tony Pulis will be appointed as West Brom head coach to succeed the sacked Alan Irvine.
The former Stoke and Crystal Palace manager is likely to be confirmed in the position on Thursday.
It is hoped he will be in the stands at Upton Park for West Brom's trip to West Ham.
There are still some details to be decided, but the deal is expected to proceed without a problem.

Make sure you just wikipedia Gaming in 98. So many great games came out in that year.

SNES gaming might still be my favourite era. Just playing for fun. No trophies or patches, plus any problem was solved by a blow on a cartridge.

How could you ban that face?

Raheezus is above the law.

I have to hope the quote about us not doing much in January is bullshit. We definitely need a striker and a keeper. Nice to get more solid info on Studge though, even if it was originally supposed to be early January iirc.

Until blowing didn't do the trick and your game was just broke :/

I've played some iconic games (I think). Spend a lot of time on Ghosts and Goblins on the NES. Also played Lost Vikings on the SNES. Golden Eye and Perfect Dark on the N64 were great. But I wasn't big on Zelda back then. I should have played that in my childhood. I also had the Mario All Stars casette with the classic Mario games on it. Which were amazing games to me. And Yoshi's Island on the SNES.

Quite a lot of Nintendo stuff actually. Up till I got to know Crash Bandicoot of course.

EDIT

Also Spyro <3

I don't understand the need for both those guys above Pulis.

They say Pulis will have full control over transfers, but it's probably just PR speak and they'll remain with their model.

Not to mention they'd be barmy to abandon it when Pulis record on transfers is terrible.

Besides, they probably do all kinds of small things for the club that you never really hear about, from your basic footballing administration to managing youth and reserve teams.
