Raging Bull, The Departed, Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Casino, The Aviator, Hugo and Shutter Island are the ones I've seen.

And let's not forget he was important to Boardwalk Empire as well.

Zamparini said he was advised by the supporters to get Gasperini back, if only Roman would listen too and fire the interim manager.

Also on Nirvana earlier : Always thought their music was the most boring of the grunge, pearl jam and alice in chains are much better, Nirvanas attitude was great though, I'm always for a band destroying everything live.

Hated it because of that dumb twist at the end. I never thought a single twist would destroy a movie that I have enjoyed but that Movie have done that.

The twist was shitty and you kind of had your suspicious about it very early on in the movie, alright movie but no where near his best imo.

Yup My sister read the script and said it was really good.

Plus, I like Park-Chan Wook's films.

I have been following it on and off and it seems it is shaping to be a thrilling movie. Its coming out on Cinema next week and reviewers are calling it Hitchhocker of this century.

Can't bloody wait!

I wouldn't call it a twist..

Yeah, well you should tell that to the movie who who made it to look as such. It was so dumb and obvious to a point that I thought they would never go there, but lo and behold, they did.

Aye, I thought the movie was well directed and the script was quite good as well. Di Caprios acting was immense as usual. Its not his best, but what he did was quite clever until it became dumb.

Yup

The Departed was a Infernal Affair ripoff just with better acting.

Plus, Scorsese thanked japan instead of Hong Kong...

Infernal Affairs isn't as good as Departed

I like Shutter Island the most.

Really entertaining film

By the way, anyone excited for Stoker? First Hollywood/Western movie by Park-Chan Wook of Oldboy fame.

Looks awesome! I love Park

You're forcing a particular play style on the sport that you consider to be the best. Part of what makes football great is that there are varying styles and they can all be successful to a degree. What you would be doing is telling teams that there is a right way to play by incentivising that style. If you follow this line of thinking, you could see how it would cause an even greater gap between the haves and have-nots in football. Everyone playing the same way would be awfully dull.

I think the rule would make it a very different sport to the one it is now, and not for the better in many ways.

This is true, but is the difference in the way Stoke and Swansea play a conscious decision by their academies or is an acceptance that one has the ability to play a certain way whereas the other does not? And if it's the latter, if the variation is just a reflection of a reality rather than a philosophy, then should fans and clubs alike priorities the development of technique and skill in youth?

After the World Cup, people came the conclusion that the difference between the English national side and that of the Spanish was founded on a differing mentality that stems from how they'd prefer the sport to be played. Skilful players there weren't disqualified because of a lack of physique as often as they were here. As a result, we've come to find our variation endearing. But this variation stemmed from a lack of technique. How do you improve that whilst still producing the likes of Stoke in the future? Isn't that paradox?

Another interesting question for you lot to ponder:

Why are the biggest club sides full of skilful players? Was their collection based on a philosophy of the type of football they wanted to play, or was it a realisation that skilful football was superior when it came to winning games?

One of the beauty of football is that the rules are all simple and makes sense, maybe apart from offside which doesn't seem completely natural and obvious to new comers. Another is the very varied mentalities to the way you play, starting to adding extra points for playing a certain way would be a disaster and luckily completely unrealistic.

Agreed. Even though I disagree with the whole FIFA bullshit of why we can't have video replay or goal-line tech, part of what makes football so universal is the fact that the rules are so simple and that the game played at the highest level is, for the most part, just the same as the game played at the very lowest levels.

I think the problem is that Meus just doesn't like football. It's not what he wants it to be.

This has a lot of truth.

When I was younger, my cousin was a huge Man Utd fan and proudly showed it with his scarves and school bag with the club crescent. When I would sit down to watch it with him, I on the other had found the sport dull and uninteresting, but then again that was based purely on the glimpses that I afforded it. Purely by coincidence, years later, I saw an Arsenal player do something interesting with the ball - I saw a pattern develop on the pitch. I came to be a fan of the team, and by extension the sport, solely based on this.

I hope that explains my incessant commentary on style when it comes to football; I'm not a fan football; I'm a fan of pretty football. If you see my exchanges with Arsenal fans here, I talk about the lack of creativity in our side in response to their complaints about the defence.

I'm really happy the new Tomb Raider turned out to be good. I dont get the hate, 'another Uncharted' sounds perfect.

It turned out good? are reviews out?

I thought it looked good from the few videos I have seen. I love New Lara's look and voice.

Uncharted does lots of things wrong in my opinion. Whilst it looks beautiful and I love the characters, the combat and platforming is total shit. It's the sort of game that I look forward to the next cutscene.

Oh did reviews hit already? I was a bit worried when I saw the e3 demo cause it didn't look super great, but having been a huge fan of the older tomb raider games and seeing their decline was pretty sad, fell in love with uncharted instead and would also just love "another uncharted", what I don't want is Resident Evil and Splinter Cell trying to be uncharted.

Platforming I agree is a bit shitty, the combat felt great in UC2 though and also in UC3 at least after the patch.
