Yeah it makes sense.

For a while it used to be that when us Euro-folk went to sleep the MLS dudes would have the thread for a few hours. But then Andres joined and MLS-GAF was over-run by After-Dark-GAF so they packed their things and left.

Some people call rugby football here. And a lot of Aussies call their Aussie Rules game football.

Are there really only so few words that all these sports have to name themselves football..lol

I'm just waiting for Djokovic to claim Tennis should be renamed to football.

Premier League - over
SPL - over
La Liga - over
Bundesliga - over
Serie A - pretty much over
France - nobody cares
Russia - lol

Holland and Portugal are now the only 2 with any excitement at the top

There are plenty of meltdowns still to come.

Next week we'll have

- Barca get knocked out and their fans cry about anti-football and how everybody hates them and it's just not fair.

OR

- Barca get through with some Unicef help and everyone loses it.

The juve - celtic tie was always going to be a non-event after the first leg. I'm more disappointed in the other game, particularly Valencia.

It doesn't help that Liverpool's season is essentially over, and the only thing we have to look forward to is worrying about Suarez leaving :(


I am looking forward to the Barca meltdowns though. We definitely have something beatiful to look forward to though:

Either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid will get knocked out of the Champions League at some point. Hopefully both at the hands of Dortmund, Bayern in the final. With a handball goal and an Ovrebo-style refereeing performance.

Also Arsenal could easily get bummed at the Allianz if Bayern don't hold back

Liverpool season - over

On a serious note though, the Russian League has a pretty good 3 way race for the title this year. Get excited, the best league in the world
that has a winter break
is resuming on Friday!!!
