I think it's a good signing, assuming it pans out. 5m for a solid defender with a ton of upside (if FM is to be believed...) is a bargain. Everyone moans about Arsenal's poor defensive record, but it's not been that bad this year. Certainly not the biggest of our problems.
Which one? Where is jersey heaven and what happens there? Is God wearing a City shirt?

Don't know much about the player but Jenkinson has come along well this year and Bellerin is still an Arsenal player and also playing well so is another right back really an issue? We need 3 right backs? The issue with our defensive record is how we are concedeing the goals not necessarily the amount of goals. We concede stupid avoidable goals that are down to player error rather than the opposition being so good.

Bellerin's promising, but I don't know if he's ready yet (Jenkinson certainly wasn't last season); a loan spell would do him some good I think. Corchia at least has a lot of first team Ligue 1 experience (118 league apps so far, according to wiki), even if he is uncapped.
I think we'll always concede stupid individual goals, but everyone concedes stupid individual goals. A lot of pieces are needed to get this team competing again (new GK, new center half, new defensive midfielderand that's just on the defensive side of things), but hopefully this is a step in the right direction. We'll see.

French league apps... I just don't have a lot of faith in Ligue 1 being at an appropriate quality where that means a lot. If he is playing every week why is he moving to Arsenal where he wont play every week?
Goalkeeper I can see us getting one as we will be selling I would imagine 2 of our goalkeepers. DM we will definitely get someone in as Diaby's latest long term injury has all but ensured that and unfortunately ended his Arsenal career at the same time. CB I'm not sure as with Mertesacker, Kos and Vermaelen and if we buy another one that will be 4 and none of those players will tolerate extended periods on the bench so that depends on who is sold, imo.
All I pray is please buy a QUALITY striker Wenger. PLEASE.

It's a beginners league and I'm trying to decide if I should play up front or mid.

In our five a side we just have defenders and attackers, not much point thinking beyond that. Pitch is so small that fluidity naturally drags you around. Do love a good 5 a side though.
