I miss Jeff. If Blackburn go to League One I fear he'll account suicide.

:-(

No we won't. Your meltdown alone after Ibra styles on your cunts will take up at least 10 pages.
He's missing the 1st leg, isn't he? I expect him to score at the Camp Nou though.

See you in hell, Bacon!

Religion in sports is bad.
Sports is supposed to be inclusive and not accentuate people's differences.
And because some Muslims in here are crying out, again. Here's something that should make more sense to you: back in I guess 98 or so I personally witnessed people of your denomination (basically a club consisting of Turks only, Bosporus something, Kreisliga in Düsseldorf) take offence in their opponents' overly Christian acting, as in: "take that mofos, we crusaded your ass" while crossing themselves after goals and also doing crosses with their fingers (as if to protect themselves from demons) when Bosporus players were addressing them. The situation escalated at some point and it came to a fight, they game was called off.
Now do you think the public display of religion was helpful in this situation?
Do you think a young German Turk (raised Muslim, but not knowing wtf he really is) thinks "oh wow, I could play for Germany someday too" when German national players cross themselves after goals? Probably not.
If you even have half-German, ex-national player, now commentator Mehmet Scholl complaining about Holtby doing the cross then it must be strange for people to see that shit.
If FIFA can ban/punish taking off shirts in part probably also because it offends ME countries to see manboobs on TV (from what I understand it was introduced for the WC 2002 in which countries like Saudi Arabia participated), then religious display should absolutely be punishable too.

Of course to me there many more reasons for that, like how often do you see religion in cartoons? Those are supposed to be mass-compatible and since football doesn't have age restrictions (like other sports that can only be televised at noon in most countries) so should be football. Why is there supposed to be religion in your face in places you don't/wouldn't expect it?
Lastly, religion can be some fucking vile shit. Why would people, who narrowly escaped persecution/death on the hands of followers of a religion be reminded of it, again, in places where they least expect it? Especially with islam which, to some, cannot exist in a secular society because islam = law and can therefore also be referred to as ideology, how that different from fascist/Roman salute? Ohh, but all of us take offense in that, do we?

Local fans for local clubs, we'll have no trouble here.

3Sixty
dc89
tc91
arkon (fairweather)
juanpablo (born and raised in the centre circle)
Gareth Bale (born in London zoo, adaped to bipedalism quite remarkably)
Randdalf (born within the sound of a cunt's bell)

And then the next OT would take another month to finish after another AMAZING REMUNTADA in the second leg, where the people waiting to hate will disappear, thus meaning less posting.

Please. You're going to wish there was no REMUNTADA against Milan after you see what Ibra does to you. A scorned Ibra(after Pique chose Shakira over him) is one to be feared.

lol the fourth ref just went out and told both Brøndby and AGF managers that "you know they can hear everything you say in tv, right?". Hope that doesn't mean they will stop talking, it's more interesting than the match.

Hmm, no one cared to address my points with anything more than one-liners, so I'll just assume that this is the wrong place to discuss this. I'll make an extra thread if I find the time/feel like it.

Oh and I sure as fuck won't stop expressing my mind about those fucktard players, especially if it goes beyond just simple display of religious affiliation, so either gtfo or ignore me.

How did you come to the conclusion that FIFA decided (in part) to ban taking shirts off because it would offend Muslims?

When you answer bear in mind that Saudi Arabia played in the 1994 and 1998 World Cups before 2002 and Iran also played in France 98.

Wasn't it banned in the Bundesliga a few years ago because of all the 'I love Jesus'-shirts? So to counter religious messages? Which I applaud, Bayern had a few of those fools like Lucio and Ze Roberto who tried to even convert other players. I have no problem with praying before a match but that's where it should stop.

Lol, this happened to Zenit this season too. We had to play two home games with no fans because our fans are retarded. One game against CSKA their coach was yelling DZAGAAAA(referring to Dzagoev) nonstop for like 10 minutes. Whatever he wanted certainly didn't happen because after he stopped yelling it he just subbed Dzagoev off, lol.

It's the wrong place to discuss it because you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

It's really not a big problem.

I asked this before. He didn't bother addressing it.

Please do make that thread, Phantast2k

This is a strange one. According to Graham Poll: "The rule was brought in after the 2002 World Cup because some shirts were double-skinned. So it was hard to put them back on, delaying the restart of the game."

There was an incident with Edmilson I think. It took him a long time to get his shirt back on and the ref obviously can't restart play before then.

^^lol..

Expected line up vs PSG:

---------------V.V
--Alves -- Pique Masch - Alba
------------Biscuit
----- Xavi ----------Iniesta
Tello ------Messi ------- Villa

Xavi and Alba might not play but I think they will.

The option files make that a non-issue on the consoles--even more so on the pc. The file that I use is from a Newcastle supporter too. His handle is Glen The Magpie. Good guy.

How does that make not having clubs a none issue? :/

On fifa we play league and cup tournaments as our own custom made club of GAF members online, it's brilliant controlling one player each and trying to get you to work together as a team. Had some amazing moments needing a goal in the last minutes to stay up in a division and such lol

Phantast here is another question for you.

You problem with players displaying religion on the pitch, or in public generally, seems to be that it will create problems because it affiliates them with their given faith and therefore creates fractures in society.

Do you then think that people who are named after religious figures should not go by those names because it will again affiliate them with their faith and create problems?

Mesut Ozil for example, his name is a variation of the Islamic name "Masood" who is one of the first people to accept Islam. The name means "fortunate" or "prosperous".

Would you prefer that Ozil does not go by this name because of its links with Islam?

Same applies re:- all other football players or public personas who have religious names.

I think he thought by "pro clubs" Koofoo meant having official license to the football clubs.

Even then it's a huge issue, with not being able to use that shit online. PES is never coming back, waiting for someone other than to Konami to take a shot at competing with EA.

What if Hideo Kojima works on PES 14. What will happen

Score goal from 60 metres? Nanomachines.

Football has changed. You have to influence the outcome of the match without directly controlling the players. Use your porn mags, cardboard boxes and other gadgets to help you.

So no more FA Cup, can't believe we didn't score either but only had the BBC commentary at my disposal.

-Edit- Also, finally watching through Entourage. This show is already magnificent.

Paolo Di Canio has just given an interview where he says that he is definitely not racist.

He backs this up by saying Trevor Sinclair and Chris Powell where his best friends while he was at West Ham.

Why would anyone be friends with Trevor Sinclair

Imagine the story he would create for your Virtual Pro.

Replace Snake with your Pro, also replace the truck with a team bus and replace the rebels with other promising youth.

"Ball Control...Information Control...Emotion Control...Diving Control...Everything is monitored and kept under Control...Football has changed, the age of possession has become the age of Control"

Yurt, the cutscenes on the history of the Serie A alone would be hours.

Good God, at least you can play whichever act of MGS 4 you want to now, without any hassle, after the patch. Shame they never released a "###stence" version of it with VR Missions and a much bigger Act 1, which is the fucking best thing ever.

Extra rewards/points for finishing the game without being carded, tackled, and the hardest challenge, not being seen during your whole season, call the achievement "The Nasri"
