Which one supplements ME3 better? I'm thinking SD, wanna start one now while this DLC is downloading

I'll get round to both eventually
Each have totally different settings and plots. Really, if you like sweet Asian lewd girls and brawling go for SD. Otherwise, Far Cry 3 will blow you away (on PC).

I don't know, I tried to argue for him during the game but was ignored. Barely any "Buffoon" posts after Buffon does much worse for both goals, but many loldes' for Valdes conceding an offside goal and a deflected shot.

Alaba's was also deflected but it was, what, 15 meters further than Matuidi's? And it even was a slower shot, so slow it bounced 20 times towards the goal.

We all know he isn't Casillas but I don't blame him for the goals against PSG. In fact, he played very well. I cbf finding my post but at half time I said he was the only one playing good.

Bartra should have either let the shot go or if he is making contact he has to be sure it won't be deflected towards goal. He'll learm..I hope. But if anyone is to blame for the second goal, I would blame him.

Which thread were you reading? There was a whole stream of lol Buffon posts after both goals. Although it is more fashionable to be criticizing Valdes, it's not like Buffon escaped criticism yesterday.

Rodgers hate's hilarious.

The analogy about the aircraft is a perfect example. It makes complete sense, but because Rodgers said it, suddenly it's 'too much'. Jurgen Klopp makes an almost identical analogy in an interview with the BBC, and he's showered with praise for his personality.

It's easy to jump on the bandwagon, and I see a lot of you have. Hixx did have legitimate complaints last season when Rodgers made some ridiculous comments about Sunderland, but his hypocrisy glistened when he began fellating Di Canio for referring to himself in the third person.

A manager with personality is better than one without, for me. Manager's need personality. If Jurgen Klopp talks about playing with heart, it's a wonderful comment, because he manages Dortmund and GAF loves them. Rodgers talks about hope and suddenly he's a twat. Mostly because he manages Liverpool.

When I read it on the Guardian, I wondered why they included the airplane analogy. Its a perfect metaphor.

Rodgers lacks charisma and self-awareness. That's all it is, imo. People shat on AVB for his ridiculously convoluted way of speaking (which he has since toned down) and I'm sure Rodgers will fine tune his public persona in time as well.

You're wrong, fuck Klopp too, fuck him right in the ass nearly as hard as you would fuck Bayern.

I don't even hate on Rodgers, it's hard not to laugh at his quotes sometimes though

Far Cry 3 or Sleeping Dogs?

Allow me to field this one as I have just completed FC3 and am about 8 hours into SD. FC3 is the better game and I was really impressed by it. But you should play it on PC because it runs like shit on consoles. SD is pretty fun and all but it's nothing amazing. A decent open world game that has all the hallmarks of an 8/10 game.

It's not about "Rodgers hate" or "personality".

"My biggest mentor is myself".

Seriously?

All I can say is that half of that stuff wouldn't be out of place on The Apprentice.

Both of them seem to look a lot better on PC, mainly FC3 though. For that reason I'll probably go SD first, on the off-chance that I have a decent PC by the time I get round to FC3

@Viva, that is one of the ridiculous ones, and the wider remark doesn't even make sense :D

For me, it's his lack of self-awareness and ideas above his station that I find comical due to the way it perfectly reflects the attitudes of quite a few of the club's supporters. He's a microcosm of what the modern Liverpool FC represents - he wants to come across something more than he is.

I don't even find the one about planes silly. Or the hope one, although it is quite cringe.

That one, the latin quote and the relentless quest are hilarious. I dunno how he can say that stuff with a straight face. He obv has limitless self belief. Fair one.

A lot of his more flamboyant lines have seeds of truth, but of course they don't tally with the dour persona of a British manager.

I definitely agree about the self awareness thing, but I think it's that he is charismatic that people are getting at him. He's not charismatic in the way that Di Canio, AVB, Klopp are because, simply, he's British.

I don't want him to become more stereotypically British to appease lemons who want one line answers that lack any sort of flavour or personality. I don't want him to turn into David Moyes. If that means the Huffington Post create quizzes that compare him to David Brent (which the Guardian then steal), fair enough.
You're wrong, fuck Klopp too, fuck him right in the ass nearly as hard as you would fuck Bayern.

Some of the things he says are overloaded with spunk. I'd rather giggle and appreciate his eccentricity, though, than lambast him for it.

As I say, if he didn't manage Liverpool then 90% of the comments about it here wouldn't exist. The 10% being Hixx, who's team is "now managed by Paulo Di Canio", said Paulo Di Canio.

Don't know how the fuck you found out my birthday.

Its weird how managers reflect their clubs and fans

Rodgers - Thinks he's more profound than he is
Wenger - Cares too much about quality of football and finances at the cost of success
Di Canio - Fascist
Moyes - Decent, but ultimately a non-entity
Ferguson - Utter cunt

I could listen to Rodgers speak all day. He's brilliant. I do have a suspicion that he's playing up to his character some of the time though. You can see he has a little twinkle in his eye when he's being interviewed.

Heh, Real Madrid being investigated over state aid with regards to land they were given by the local council.

I'm shocked.

Weren't they investigated for the same thing just over 10 years ago? The relationship that Spanish clubs have between the different local governments and provinces blows my mind. The entire Spanish league has an inbuilt advantage compared to other European leagues, and Real are merely the tip of the spear.

Sleeping Dogs is an average open world GTA knockoff that was praised hugely, mostly I assume because this gen has been awful for that type of game (with GTA IV being an abomination). It filled a much needed niche. However, do not expect anything above 7, maybe 8/10

As for the Rodgers debate, he is essentially displaying exactly the attitude needed to be really successful in sport. Every great sporting person has been an arrogant little shit in the end, the only thing with Rodgers is that he still hasn't reached the top levels. If in 5 years time Rodgers has won multiple trophies then his comments will be looked back upon as a sign of his brilliance.

The reason you're defending him is because he manages Liverpool. I reckon if this sort of stuff were coming from SAF you'd be one of the ones lolling the hardest and sticking the boot in.

I do stick the boot into Fergie because he's a dour cunt who sounds genuinely drunk.

It's not hypocritical, I like spunky managers and I dislike boring ones. Kenny got boring, too. In his first few months in charge he was cracking jokes and taking interviews with a sense of humour. Then he spent £35 million on Andy Carroll, had to defend Suarez during the racism debacle, and became dour. Not Moyes dour, certainly not Ferguson dour, but dour nonetheless.

I cancelled my LFCTV online subscription.
I don't even know why I put 23rd, you'll just need to make sure you say it in 20 days time.
That's even stranger.

Does anyone else think Isco has been overhyped? He's good player but he's getting much more recognition than most other young stars in Europe.

Being useless twats is one.

A disconnection or a connection?

Interim manager's use: Get the team to achieve goals, get them as far as possible in cups, try and oversee a change of the guard in terms of gradually removing old players

Coming 4th, in the FA Cup semi, Europa Leage quarters, Terry playing less.

Verdict: Very moderate success, partial league failure.

Fan's use: Buy tickets, support the team (including manager,) lift team to better performances.

Manager-abusing, negative-atmosphere creating, plastic-flag waving cunts to a man.

Verdict: Utter failure. The mere existence of plastic flags is an admittance to the facht.

So yeah, a pretty big disconnect.

Nope, I think he's genuinely that good.

I would say that, like. Malaga sold me him for £3 million, and now he's an absolute beast for me. Bagged two assists and a goal to help my Napoli side beat Shakhtar 4-1 away in the Champions League 2nd Round.

Yes...like Götze
:lol

Gotze and Reus are fucking brilliant.

wat

Sunderland is possibly the most socialist area in the whole of England.

I think 'crazy bastard' would be a better fit

There are alot of managers (most maybe) who are very arrogant who don't come out with nonsense like Rodgers does. It's because he tries to sound so profound which makes it hilarious.

Ushojax

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Apparently Defoe will miss our next three games with a muscle injury.

Shit, where are the goals going to come from now?

Ade is going to burst into life. There have been glimmers of the old Ade in recent weeks, he just needs one goal (that silly one at San Siro doesn't count). As shite as his finish against Swansea was, it was impressive how he strode through their defence onto that pass. I haven't seen that form him all season.

[The same place they've been coming from the whole time... Bale.

I give up. :(

Go jerk off on your Rafa posters, still the worst manager since Roman took over and to call his transformation of Chelsea in the league a "partial failure" is hilarious. Can't wait for him to be out of a job again, he will have to wait a long fucking time for Real to call him as he believes, I'm depressed again now thinking about him being in control over Chelsea.
