Thiago joined up with Spanish U21 squad today, so can't take part in Barça vs Malaga - therefore release clause will drop to €18M.

He needs to play 60% of games and to do so, has to play vs Malaga - and therefore can't and his clause drops from €90M to €18M.

Apparently we signed some duder from Basel, named "Cabral".

Nivver heard of him but Basel were pretty great in Europe so he's obviously mint.

Great atmosphere inside Wembley today, tube ride home is going to be fun!

Heads fucking killing me since we started on the beer a bit early.

Let the major transfers happen until we decide who will come where.

Hoping Stoke go down though

That's what I'm gonna do :)

The transfer window should last 48 hours starting from 00:01 August 1st, imagine the hype.

Should the term world class be expanded for the number of good strikers around today? Suarez, Van Persie, Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski, Mandzukic, even Gomez and Soldado. All have legitimate claims to being world class imo.

So Silvino Louro and Rui Faria were there too.

The team is back in town.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

I'd like us to be in a group with:
FC Porto (need to rebuild the team)
Olympique Marseille (payback, mofos)
FC København (die, Wooden, DIE)

Worst group would be:
Chelsea (I think they'll be huge with Mou and he already knows us pretty well)
Milan & Napoli
Milan and Napoli can't be in the same group, so the worst group wouldn't be so bad :D

I'd love to get:
Porto/United
Atlético
Celtic

Would be interesting matches and doable I think.

Exactly. He's a winner joining a winning team.

That's winning squared. You can't even calculate that. And if you could, it would probably be a really big number, like 3 million.

We usually do well against the German teams. Marseilles sucks and Porto are from some lowly rated league that sells all their best players to newly promoted French teams. Easily out of the group stage.

So ends all the interesting football until August.

Need Cricket, F1 and Rugby to tide me over until the new season.

Can't be arsed with preseason this year. Grown to learn that the team can't really be bothered in those games, and they're no indication for anything until the last 2.

Ashes should be good, and the Confederations Cup is just about worth watching, but still :(

Probably been mentioned already but it looks like Thiago will be with the Spanish U21's while Barca are playing their last game.

Cheap buy out clause here we come.
