If I'm not mistaken, the scavenger crates are just premium loot boxes. They should be numbered in your profile in the top left corner. In order to access them, you need to go a hero you own, go to "scavenge gear", and then open a "premium box". Premium loot boxes are normally 500 steel, but if you have scavenger crates, they're free to open up on a character's "scavenge loot" page.
Just pick the hero you want to get loot for, and open up the premium box. You'll get loot specifically for that hero.
They are in the customization menu after you have unlocked a character. Go into Scavenge and instead of being able to buy the premium crate it should show the number of crates you currently own. That said, you don't really tend to get good gear until after you've prestiged a few times. I'm not sure if gear you get from the crates are tied to the level of your character when you got the crate or at the time of you opening the crate.

Got it, thanks guys! How about the "legacy battle pack" costumes that are supposedly included. i notice that names of the default costumes are the same names as the legacy battle pack costumes.... are they seriously acting like the default costumes are an added bonus?

Does advanced training give you more steel after standard training? If so, how much?

In the open beta, you got 2000 Steel for doing the standard tutorial, and 1500 Steel for doing the advanced tutorial. If it changed, I don't know.
I'd still do it regardless, it doesn't take that long.

Has anybody been able to get the Steam Overlay working for them?
Mine took a while before settling at a good speed, said multiple hours to complete but ultimately it finished in about twenty minutes.

Man I want to get back home to kill as many new players as I can to get my Orochi up to like maybe Lv 10 before trying out the Shugoki.

Exact opposite for me honestly. Was getting smoked my first couple of rounds.Maybe it's just dumb luck but my first couple matches have been like taking candy from a baby. I'm guessing most people in matches right now aren't battle hardened from beta. >

Wow, they overnerfed PK bleed badly. She wasn't -that- bad; there's no point to even stabbing 3 times now unless they parry the first two, the damage of each stab doesn't apply, only the first one landed.
It's weaker than a normal heavy and barely more than a light; it has slight utility as stab-then-kick but it's really weak now.
I don't even play PK but my best friend I spar about 30 times a day now does and I went 21-12 with him on his PK when normally we're even.

I can't get the multiplayer to work. Keep getting an error has occurred. Sometimes I can play for a few minutes and it's fine and other times I get the error right at the start of a match. I forward all the ports and did everything on the troubleshooting guide. :\
they nerfed Peacekeeper's bleed but not Nobushi's bleed?

Yep, nerfed PK bleed by about 75%. It barely does 20% of my health as a Berserker now with all 3 stabs.
I mostly play Nobushi so I want to make sure that you're saying Noboshi hasn't been nerfed right?

It works for me. I've just made another one. Pay attention to the negative numbers.

And colors.
S1 & S2 : black
S3 should be background color.
S4 & S5 : Orange

Did really play yet, I was waiting to do it tomorrow when I accidentally started it up so I just did the tutorial for like the fifth time and bought my nobushi to check out the customization and man the cherry blossom execution/ effect is fuckin fresh. Definitely rocketed to the top of things to buy when I save up my honor bucks.
