For Honor |OT| And shame are huge parts of it

You have to prestige to start getting higher rarities? lmao

You have to prestige because the higher level rarities not only increase the benefits of items, they also have higher penalties. Sure your new weapon piece may nearly max out your attack stat but it will also drop your defense or your stamina cost stats in the toilet in modes that allow gear stats. Allowing players to get those when they are just starting out would lead to a lot of misconceptions about the effectiveness, or perhaps lack thereof, of almost any character.

I'm sorry but to see an Orochi having the ability to run away after a stab when they're on life support is stupid. :/

I need some help, how do I deal with Peacekeepers as Warden?

I've been trying to crack that code as well. Shoulderbash doesn't work on them. Top lights can be dodge punished on reaction. Zone attack is now unsafe on block. So you basically have to parry her lights, which is very hard.

I got to give it to the campaign. It's not revolutionary in anyway, and the missions can be pretty basic... But it's fun and the story (just completed Chapter 1) is actually fun to watch unfold.

Going through serious withdrawal after the open beta.
Way too much on my plate right now, but can't wait to pick this up!

It feels very unreliable though :v like sometimes I just lock on back to the same guy...

Have you tried changing the lock-on setting so it's a single press rather than hold?
Not positive how that affects switching targets, but some people seem to find it more comfortable.

Yup, the very first thing I did lol.

I had some success in switching targets using the R3 'clicks in the direction' method in the tutorial, but whether I panicked or something I could never pull it off in a fight

Having a hitching problem. Even at the lowest setting I get stutters and mini freezes when I hit or am hit or when I swing the conquerors flail. Any ideas what would cause it? Extreme is the recommended setting and I'm running a 1070.

Anyone able to remap buttons on a xbox one controller on PC? I can't do it through steam because its giving me errors. Is there any other way? I have a standard controller , not elite.

Thanks!

My strategy against her as warden and kensei was to keep her at distance while guarding upwards, if she wanted to get close and fast to me she would have to jump forward and I would just parry and punish. If she then decided to get close but attack left or right I would use wardens light+heavy which is a pretty fast attack (but beware of the 50% stamina consumption)

Anyone having trouble with the Twitch Prime claiming?

Then why bother having a rarity system at all? Sorry, that's pretty poorly thought out. I'm really enjoying the game but "loot is basically meaningless until you prestige once or twice" is asinine.

Is this the average Orochi player?

Thanks, I'll try that.

Warden's light attacks are insanely fast. Mix them up with guard breaks and shoulder charges to keep assassins at bay.

A good enough Peacekeeper will never fall for the shoulder charge :C

And she's fast enough to dodge the cancel into guard break too.

watching matimio's stream and he's complaining about a lot of one shot kills or two hit kills.. that sounds like a good way to have a bad time. hopefully not too many characters can do that.

Getting owned just like I probably should playing a new fighting game. Any good videos or links to some basics I need to know?

There's literally only one character that can do that and it's a huge dodgeable grab.
