Man the loot is so boring in this. I've never seen anything higher than a common, and the differences are so minuscule.
What level are you?
In beta I didn't see blue 7 gear till REP 1 with champion status

You gotta prestige! At prestige 1 you start getting Rare, at prestige 3, Epic.
I have a very basic question- what's the most reliable way to switch lock on targets :v ?
You have to prestige to start getting higher rarities? lmao

Just quickly re-press left trigger to cycle through nearest
I need some help, how do I deal with Peacekeepers as Warden?
Combining Skirmish and Elimination was incredibly stupid.
It feels very unreliable though :v like sometimes I just lock on back to the same guy...
Have you tried changing the lock-on setting so it's a single press rather than hold?
Not positive how that affects switching targets, but some people seem to find it more comfortable.
How much visual variety is there in gear? My conqueror keeps getting the same three different looks for her helmet

You have to prestige because the higher level rarities not only increase the benefits of items, they also have higher penalties. Sure your new weapon piece may nearly max out your attack stat but it will also drop your defense or your stamina cost stats in the toilet in modes that allow gear stats. Allowing players to get those when they are just starting out would lead to a lot of misconceptions about the effectiveness, or perhaps lack thereof, of almost any character.
The bosses are SO GOODHuh, I wasn't expecting to play the single player at all, but it's actually alright.
What mode should I play to get better. 4 vs 4 seemed too random to me but I did only play 2 games of it.
Warden's light attacks are insanely fast. Mix them up with guard breaks and shoulder charges to keep assassins at bay.I need some help, how do I deal with Peacekeepers as Warden?

My strategy against her as warden and kensei was to keep her at distance while guarding upwards, if she wanted to get close and fast to me she would have to jump forward and I would just parry and punish. If she then decided to get close but attack left or right I would use wardens light+heavy which is a pretty fast attack (but beware of the 50% stamina consumption)

Just fought a Lawbringer where giant plumes of fire shot out of his shoulders when he executed -- so it seems like gear gets preeetty cool
watching matimio's stream and he's complaining about a lot of one shot kills or two hit kills.. that sounds like a good way to have a bad time. hopefully not too many characters can do that.
I think that's one of the preorder bonuses. Also, it's not actually gear, but an effect you can apply in a seperate menu
Do you get steel from doing the single player?

5000 for beating it on Easy.
I dunno about the rest of the difficulties.
I preordered but don't have that, unless it's in some higher tier and not the base game.

More salt. Let it flow baby. Is it something about conqueror?
I found this helpfulGetting owned just like I probably should playing a new fighting game. Any good videos or links to some basics I need to know?
