Max's track notes for Monaco. :lol
Not bad.

More power means more efficient, so it could mean he can run with less fuel for the race. Might not be much but it might help.
Hm, true. Hope it does make a difference.

How did the whole engine development thing play out anyway? Was it something like this?
1) Renault use their tokens, make something a bit better in their PU.
2) Can only get two of them to Monaco.
3) Red Bull, via their agreement with Renault, get one. The other goes to Renault works.
4) RBR do whatever their tweaks are (are there even any?) to make it a TAG or whatever the fuck it is.

Because are Renault and RBR are essentially running the same running gear, or are there enough differences? I'm still fucking confused about the whole thing.

Renault upgrade should bring around 0.2 seconds per lap in Monaco and around 0.5 second per lap in Canada. At least those are wishes from Renault, we will see how it will pan out.

But Mercedes is bringing new engine to Canada, they will spend some tokens for it.

They are all pushing hard, Gutierrez almost binned it after the tunnel, while Palmer touched the barrier in Antony Noghes.

Danny Ric showing middle finger to... no one?

Who can blame him if after Red Bull stripped him of his win?

That's a bit dramatic haha. Lets be honest, Vettel would have finished ahead of him even if Kimi and Max had the same strategy as the #1 drivers, so he wouldn't have won either way.

I mean, he lost a solid podium.

But then, that puncture would have cost him that as well.

He probably would have been fourth either way. :D

Times are only half a second slower than pole position last year, so we could see PP time of low 1:14 or even better

Yep. Bianchi's family is seeking "Justice of Jules" and suing FIA, FOM and Marrusia for neglect that lead to Jules' crash and death.

So now the FIA has to go into court and prove that Jules killed himself (AFAIK he was speeding under yellows, right?) so that'll be a nice stain on his legacy.

What a clusterfuck, what a shame. The FIA already implemented the VSC to ensure those circumstances couldn't happen anymore, so it's not really about protecting future drivers from freak accidents. No use to this.

Looks like a metal drain came off when Rosberg drove over it.
Button hit it when it was spinning down the track and his wing exploded.

Holy fuck, that could have been dangerous. I hope whoever is in charge of securing the drain/manhole covers gets told off.

Another reason why the aero screen should be implemented asap.

The family will probably argue that the tractor should never have been there with no protection around it and f1 shouldn't have been leaving the drivers to slow down an appropriate amount under flags.
