Makes sense. With revenue dropping they can't wait anymore they need to get the games out there. Xbox's game plan seems to be to flood the market with games and bring in as much money as they can.

They can do too much too soon, but fortunately for them their games aren't likely to directly compete with each other.

Flight Simulator 2024
Gears of War
Halo MCC
Forza Horizon 5

All pretty different games.

I wonder for Flight Simulator if they'll add VR support or not.

Yeah boi. This and Fable were my main two wants on PS. Holding out for the latter…

I think Fable is a pretty sure bet. With its budget, they can't afford to just release it on Xbox, where most people will just play it on GP and sales will be scant. They will need the PS audience to have any hope of turning a profit.

Is this game a driving simulator or an arcade racing game? I'm more into arcade racers.

it's a so called Simcade racer.

it has some sim aspects, but is more about arcade style gameplay.
the driving model tries to be semi realistic, while everything around it doesn't basically

I played it for 7 days when I had my SX for 7 days back in Dec 2022 and now I get another chance to play it again but on my PS5 pro. :messenger_smiling_hearts:

Nice as someone with over 5000K hours in GT7 but tried of that games outdated car list FH5 is gonna be a breath of fresh air.

It plays out exactly as many had expected. Gradually the bigger guns get released. With Forza Horizon 5 coming over, the floodgate is open. This is one of their 3 premier exclusives next to Gears and Halo.

Everybody new it, it's just a reality check for the few remaining Xbox fanboys. I think day1 games for PS are the next step.

Yes - everyone here, anyhow. Still, it's different when it actually happens.

It's actually happening faster than I expected. I thought they might hold off a while on sending their core/pillar franchises over. Guess not.

And that's a good thing. The lesser exclusive games the better.

Imagine thinking people will still buy future Xboxs after this. They must know it won't happen...

What's crazy is that Sony appears to be floundering at the moment (arrogant/lazy phase), Xbox could have used this lull to push forward. They have enough studios.
Could have been a 360 moment again.

Well, it’s an arcade and I appreciate that. But is bland and boring. Driving is not that fun and going through terrain is lame. Still better than all-simulation-Sony. Looked great on my ex-XBox.

One of the only games I've pre-ordered in modern times and have not been disappointed. I still play it weekly and on PC at max settings it still looks great to this day considering it's 2021. Tons of people still play it but the additional pool of new players will be nice.

All I ask is don't be the guy that rams you off the road, especially when you are on a team against bots. I've rage quit plenty of times due to it but it's inherent to racing games so yea... That said, if you are half decent anyways you won't have a problem catching up to anyone even after a crap move like that. The other big thing is most people just got for big power builds and this causes a lot of crashes to bc they skip tire/brake/suspension upgrades. Nothing like braking for a sharp then and then getting slammed into the wall.

Will we see it on Switch 2 as well?

I have over 1400 hours on this game, it's fantastic.

There are 2 cars in particular though that I can't see making the jump. The OPI Ford GT was a time limited car available with purchase of OPI branded nail polish and then there is the Ford Deluxe Coupe that was available only with purchase of the FH5 themed limited edition controller. I can't see them re-issuing both as the OPI deal was done years ago.
Got my answer. Should be coming to Switch 2 as well.

I hope but never heard

Would be nice if they delayed it to patch pro enhanced support though

You absolutely cannot ship a game on the PS5 without Pro support. It's a mandatory clause for publishing on PlayStation, just like you can't ship a game on Xbox Series without Series S support.

There are no if's and buts or a delayed sku. The game should be enhanced on the Pro, AT LAUNCH, since the release of the console last year.

It just has to run on the Pro, it has to support Pro features to be labeled Pro Enhanced

I think it will be an expensive powerhouse for enthusiasts and fanboys, so no marketing needed.
One of them will be I agree with that
