It had the scenic Fortune Island and all Bond cars. That alone is enough to elevate it's standing.
I deeply regret getting the Rally DLC. The exclusive cars handle very well, but the courses, topography, and scenery of the area are sleep inducing. The soothing voices giving directions did not help either.
In contrast, even though I have never liked Hot Wheels the high speed races across physics defying, icy, and wet course obstacles are exciting. Much better than anything Forza Horizon 3 offered in its Hot Wheels DLC.

I think this is a good thing, overall. MS decided to be a publisher, buying a ton of studios and publishers. There is no way that would be profitable by making everything exclusive.
This is a good thing. They have plenty of games that can sell a ton on Playstation. Forza Horizon 5 and MCC are going to make MS a lot. Their best bet for a console with an ecosystem they can profit from is with windows/PC.

Let me make this clear to you. You cannot ship a game on PlayStation 5, without PS5 Pro enhanced features, since the launch of the PS5 Pro last year, period.
It's a mandatory first party rule that Sony enforces, just like they did on the PS4 Pro and Microsoft did with the Xbox One X and are now doing (since the start of the gen) with the Series S.
There's no dodging around this by "it has to just run, but without features". No. This is NOT backwards compatibility. This is SAME platform. The PS5. It HAS TO BE enhanced. It's mandatory.
It's the reason why PS5 Pro is the definitive place to play GTA 6 this year or even next year, even if the next Xbox launches next year, Rockstar won't patch it and just launch another next gen sku.

Even if it's just Xboxs "Quality" preset but at 60 fps instead of 30fps it will blow people away and fulfill the Pro enhanced tag. This game is beautiful.

Unless you want more than 6 games that are on Gamepass, I can't think of a compelling reason to invest in the ecosystem moving forward. And I have been an "xbox guy" for 3 gens now. I'm invested with games and controllers and such so it makes since but moving forward....I am out.

That's not how the PS5 Pro works. It takes the 60fps performance mode that's lower res and uses PSSR to upscale that version to "4K"/60
PS5 Pro doesn't have enough power to brute force a native 4k/30 game to 4k/60.

Yeah I didn't understand fans who would keep on denying this. There is no way that you keep a 80 billion investment exclusive. Unless Series would like skyrocket past PS5 all of a sudden, which would ofcourse never happen.
I can see they tried with Starfield, which was sort of the first big release. But I think right after that they made up their minds. They reportedly lost 10 million potential copies, sans DLC and MTX, by excluding PS5. Shareholders won't appreciate this. Perhaps Phil really tried, but he was obviously shut down.

Eh, ports on a 6 month-1 year duration means their console sees the majority of sales while getting extra from PC later with slightly better versions, all while getting Xbox games. Unless that starts to cause console sales to tank, they're in a good place.
