Which of the car packs up for sale should I pick up?
Buy the Exotic or the World Class (C63, MP4-12c)

amar212 said:OK, I just got my Ultimate Edition.
Advice, please.
I have my Forza 3 Collectors Edition saved on my HDD (both discs installed). I'd like to install Ultimate Edition instead. Notice I have small 20GB HDD from 2006 series.
What should I do now in order to prevent any problems with data?
Thank you in advance.

I agree, the menu music is fantastic, the licensed on the other hand, not so much. To bad playing your own music isn't implemented all that well though.Grisby said:Also, who every composed the music should win something, its freaking phenomenal. I couldn't believe a car game had this good of music (the menu stuff, not licensed tracks that play during a race).

I do that, but it could have been implemented a little better if you use custom music. "Your" music plays over the menu music too.Slayer-33 said:I turn off the in race music, it's the way to play Forza Motorsport games.
The menu music is another story, I can't get enough of it.
That's a random comment :lol-viper- said:Oh man the pre 2000 mercedes cars look awful. I hate their designs.
Yenrot said:Got this for Xmas. Few questions:
Is there online multiplayer?
Where can I find drag or drift racing?
Thanks but where do I find the online racing? My first menu says:drugstore_cowboy said:Yes there's up to 8 players online.
Drag racing can be found at Sedona in the track menu, for drift mode press left on the dpad while driving.
you won't need gold, just make sure your 360 is online.LabouredSubterfuge said:I have a question about the ultimate edition:
The special Top Gear cars are apparently from a download code. Do I need a XBL gold account to access them?

I haven't checked the Marketplacd option. Only got an xbox on Xmas, so apologies for the nooby questions.
What you described there sounded like something that has to do with profile mumbojumbo on XBL, mostly.gkryhewy said:I'm seeing some weird bugs.
You found the problem. I started scraping that box from the middle, found a code and thought that was it.drugstore_cowboy said:There's 3 codes in the UE, did you put them all in?
Same for me, in realistic racers I don't like anything else but the soundeffects.Slayer-33 said:I turn off the in race music, it's the way to play Forza Motorsport games.

Fantastic pic! I love that scenery and the tracks on it!skyfinch said:

pmj said:How did you fix this problem gkryhewy? I restarted the game twice and it still won't show up with a name.
Thank you, mystery solved. The gift car was the 250 California that everyone got.gkryhewy said:I downloaded the sample for the most recent car pack (customer choice? Something like that), and he message went away... So I think that was it (or coincidence).

How nice of Turn 10 to "gift" you a car that requires you to buy DLC for real money so that you can then buy the car for 2.75 million in-game credits.
Silly DLC issues aside, I'm pretty impressed with this game.
saladine1 said:I've played through a gazzillion seasons on FM3 ever since it came out, initially with the shitty Xbox wheel and then the controller.
I just recently caved in and bought the Fanatec 911 Turbo S with clubsport pedals and Rennsport stand.
All I can say is fucking WOW!
What an absolute difference these wheels and pedals make to an already awesome experience. I can't believe I wasted all that time with a fucking gamepad when this feeling was there to be had.
I've played PC sims and GT with a G25 which was great. But the Fanatec offering is in a league of it's own imo.
Anyway, if anyone wants an exhilirating experience with Forza, I really suggest you man the fuck up, tell your wife that YOU are the king of the castle, Lord of the manor and you WILL be buying the Fanatec setup...now!

Also had to do the drag race from the latest topgear.
