Just finished the first tutorial its uploading now. I recoded a voice over to try and help but I think even then its still a little fast. My first video tutorial lol, damn I even got a little nervous when recording for some strange reason.

No problem. I called my local Blockbuster in the attempt to sway them to sell early, stating Game had broken the release date, and they flat out refused.
Will wait and see if my order with the online store progresses any further today.

A few people where I work have received Forza this morning from GAME, they are all asking is it okay to play. I wonder if Che can answer, I had my copy from Tesco online on Friday, I'd like to know if its okay to play online also.

keep the reciept and if you get banned there is a forum on xbox.com for reversing bans that is moderated and checked multiple times a day. they dont ban automatically and ms knows that a game was released early in an area they usually wont touch anyone.

bans can always be reversed

I play my 360 on a 17" Samsung syncmaster since christmas 2005 and the 360 has always looked great (plus screen is shared with my pc) but last weekend we got a new 32" HDTV for the main room to replace our old 32" SD brick, decided to setup the 360 on it using vga so I can use a much higher resolution then 720p...

All I can say is that I am staring at the demo cars in the menu and it's like watching porn. :lol

I dropped 200,000 upgrading the 72( ithink might have been newer) trans am to nutso area. I put in the Corvette ZR1 engine in it :lol

The engine swaps are awesome and really open a lot of avenues for different cars.

Awesome work on the tutorial, helped me understand the basic concept of doing these liveries in Forza. I'll definitely try to create some stuff in the game.

The wheels are on the way! We have sent the wheels for the airshipment and the advanced UPS shipment. The UPS shipment will have to go to Germany first and from there to the customers. We can hopefully give you a tracking number after they arrived here in Germany.

We are also now shipping all accessoires for these orders like CSP or wheel Stands.

Installing disc 2... But since I didn't expect to just walk into a store and get the game early (Norway) I didn't bring my wheel from storage (Just moved to a new apartment) so I guess I'll have to start play the game with a controller.. Not complaining too much though :D

Yep, no email but the status says it has been sent, so I hope the thing gets here tomorrow.

I will be watching Jubes tutorial with interest, if I can even get cogent shapes out of the Livery editor I will be more than happy, heh.

Got used to driving manual in the demo and wow what have I been missing all these years.

got within 3 seconds of the fastest time in the evo using the manual whereas with the auto I could only get to 5 seconds within the top time.

Also love looking around the leaderboards and finding the same people/clan/group with the top times. RSI seems to be on top of most of the cars, BLKJ(Team Blackjack I assume) are also up there in both time lap times and drift scores, a few V12 are also up there.

I've been waiting on this game for quite a while now, and I know more than a few of my co-workers are too. I still need to put the finishing touches on my wheel rig though, since I've been a belt/lap player since Forza 2.

@Jube3 - Fantastic job on the OP and now the tutorial video. I know the first image I create will have to be the Volition logo, and you've already made the NY license plate so I can keep my hometown alive. I've always been amazed by the works that m0dus, you, and the other members create. It astounds me what you guys can do with just some basic shapes and gradients and make it all come together.

Hopefully the game store downstairs will get an early distribution hookup for my pre-order and I can hop online and join in on the fun. I need to build up an 02 RSX Type S just so I can pretend my real-life car still has the turbo kit on it :(

Yea definitely, this is what I have planned for this week.
-Basic shading
-shading the homer simpson livery
- Another character with flat shading.
-Advanced character with/ mirroring.

Also Ill have that video for you soon m0dus.

THe game really looks and plays different from Forza 2. I was worried about recirculated tracks, but even Sebring looks good this time around. I especially like that AF seems improved in general. Would like to see some effects on the front shield though.. But yeah, graphics are fine, but the gameplay is really REALLY nice so far. I'm starting to get into slightly faster cars now, was worried from the demo that the cars were to glued to the road, but it's not like that at all, at least during my last race.. Was tail sliding and working it through the whole race. And a beautiful feeling of racing the other cars. Love it so far. And just can't wait to do the game with a wheel!
