The Muscle series in North America that I'm aware of (like CAM-T) don't have that many restrictions outside of wheelbase, weight (~3,000 lbs), door/seat count and being officially street legal.
There are no restrictions on brakes, suspension, engine and so forth.
I kind of like this because it really gets at the spirit of Muscle rather than restricting the builds to the characteristics/limitations of American family cars in the late 60, early 70s.
I don't understand this at all. Is it just for the looks that we race american muscle cars then?
The Coronet Super Bee that I just made has ZERO engine upgrades except for the flywheel, all other PI-points went into stuff to make it feel and handle less like a muscle car, the result was that I was 6 seconds faster than SoundScream's Mustang time from a few hours ago.
Edit: A weight restriction of (~3,000 lbs) would be a start at least.
