Shit, you're right. What are you going to install the games on?
People want rtgi at 4k at 60 FPS on a 500 dollar console.
Try running the game at 4k 60 FPS on a 500 dollar pc
Even after 3 years of this gen u can't make a pc that can compete with series X at 500 dollars.
Yes but bang for your buck they don't disappoint.Any Pro console next year will still be weaker than the 5090 at the same time, so you'll always have some features not there on consoles.
There's no catch-all.
They sure made it seems (nothing official) like XSX would be able to run the game at 4K60 with all the glory of RT. Disappointing.
...and RTGI on track. They announced the game with RT reflections in-game, that hasn't changed.
i think they only said RTGI for replays and car select on console...and RTGI on track.
...and RTGI on track.
Hey Xbox, what the hell is XSX for?
Never forget:No, why do people keep saying something that was never announced lol. RTGI was only announced for replays and vista. Only PC will have RTGI during races.
From last year:
Turn 10 recently confirmed is the result of ray-traced global illumination (and evidently better-quality RT reflections) in replays, the garage and photo mode.
To play the games. Are you conflating the ability to run Ray Trace global illumination with the ability to play the software?Hey Xbox, what the hell is XSX for?
Never forget:
They showed the car on track reacting to RTGI.
Several people here keep saying we don't need them and that no dev is taking full advantage of the current hardware which honestly I think its a pretty ignorant thing to sayDo people still think we don't need pro consoles?
? It's time stamped the dude is talking how RTGI bounces between surfaces affecting color.Even in your video the dude is talking about reflections only.

Who is talking about actual race? Again, "on track".but that's clearly the vista mode, not an actual race ..
an overpriced Series S for suckers. I got the $150 Series S and still feel ripped off so far.Hey Xbox, what the hell is XSX for?
Who is talking about actual race? Again, "on track".
That's what I said they "said".you will still get it "on track".
For people who don't want to spend $2,500 on a competent rig to play next-gen games with all the bells and whistles. For the record I spent way more than that and don't regret it one bit, but different strokes different folks.Hey Xbox, what the hell is XSX for?
Those are terrible specs, and gtx 1650 doesnt support any kind of RT even, lowest gpu that supports rt is rtx 3050 or from 1 gen older rtx 2060 ;X
Both are very weak gpus tho. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-rtx-3050-8-gb.c3858
I love how people are laughing at Xbox, as if the PS5 could do it. If the series X can't do it, the PS5 can't do it.
I saw the trailer for Fable, I saw Avowed, I saw God of War Ragnarok, I saw Spiderman 2, I saw the downgrade in the Hellblade 2 tease, and even games like Horizon FW, as great as it looks, is perhaps the peak we'll get this gen. It's becoming plainly obvious to me that these consoles just aren't powerful enough to give us all of the fidelity that we want and expected.
They could pull it off, but we'll have to settle for something like 1080p or 1440p @ 30 fps. Honestly, I'd love to see what sort of graphical accomplishments we could see on the Series X at 1080p 30fps - probably what we might see on the big screen in a Hollywood release.
some members here said that xbox consoles will have the RTGI at native 4k and 60fps during a race.
Is it just me or there is no ray tracing in track?
He even timestamped it and the guy mentions raytracing global illumination. He doesn't mention platform but where are you getting the idea that the dude is talking about reflections only?Even in your video the dude is talking about reflections only.
And they've clarified the RTGI parts for more than a year now.
If you still thought something inaccurately, that's entirely up to you.
It’s tricky for sure but the rtgi statement is separate from the reflections statement. It’s just edited badly. He even timestamped it and the guy mentions raytracing global illumination. He doesn't mention platform but where are you getting the idea that the dude is talking about reflections only?
Edit: seems i replied to an old post.
It's intentional. He even says "every time you see it" which is bullocks. It’s tricky for sure but the region statement is separate from the reflections statement. It’s just edited badly.
The last Forza Motorsport game that wasn't 60 was the first one so there wont be a 30 mode but they promised RT reflections at 60fps 4k, the gameplay footage they showcased didn't have it so they're either being sneaky or it's just not turned on in that build. only time shall tell!!!!!!!!111So no RT reflections at 60 fps?
Give my 4090 all the known rays in existence with a dash of dlss and I'll buy it!
They have clearly stated that there will be Ray tracing on track, during racing, at 60fps on Xbox consoles. They made it a point to further clarify and state that. Directly from T10. Now we all know the Ray tracing limitations on the consoles. Not all lighting will be Ray traced. They indicated reflections on smooth surfaces. How much, and what fidelity, will come down to optimization. So no RT reflections at 60 fps?
They should keep the settings the same because the 15 year olds on gaf can’t afford it with their summer mowing jobs. This is the way to go. PCs are more powerful, so make use of that power. I don't see why any developer should keep their games running at the same settings as the console versions of the game.
DLSS2 and TAA are must haves. TAA looked better than DLSS2 in FH5They unveiled that the pc version will have extra features and they are also focusing more on it. Ryan also confirmed this on IGN, they saw more footage behind closed doors.
