Because you are driving past it at over 100mph. Nothing is visible for more than a second.Ray tracing, 4k, high fps. Why not use some of that power to make better tress lol.

How does Forza Motorsport (2023) feel to play? Well, it feels incredible. This is the most refined, responsive, and consistent handling I have ever experienced in a racing game, and it forced me to look at each car as if I was actually driving it, to not just master each vehicle but also to learn every corner and segment of the tracks. It's genuinely an awesome driving experience, which should be at the core of any racing game worth its salt.Good on them for getting the raytracing in but I want to hear good things about the racing side too. Hopefully it's very good
Last but not least the Forza monthly from today
OK mate, the video showing the vastly improved tyre physics is also nonsense is it? According to the trusted sim racer it's exactly the same as Forza 7 even though the video shows otherwise
how the handling feels
What’s interesting, is impressions from all other sources are praising the physics changes. Super GT is very much the outlier thus far.Every single game they swear they've overhauled physics and driving and every game feels the same with the same issues. I'll reserve full judgmenent until I've played it myself, but it's not looking good in that department.
We can hope he's wrong, but I'd rather remain sceptical. The problem with niche genres like racing sims is your average gaming journalist can't really be trusted to know what they're talking about when it comes to physics or handling. What’s interesting, is impressions from all other sources are praising the physics changes. The weird thing is he played it with a controller while there where other people playing it with a proper wheels setup. That was confusing since he is a wheel only guy for his sim racing. We can hope he's wrong, but I'd rather remain sceptical. I’m not so much hoping he’s wrong, but recognizing he’s playing in a controller and literally the only one complaining about the physics at all. Despite his complaints, he also says the physics are good in the same video. So the worst impression is the physics feel like Forza and are good. Lastly, there are other with sim racing experience praising the physics…We can hope he's wrong, but I'd rather remain sceptical. Personally I plan on playing on a controller so that's of interest to me. One of my biggest issues with Forza has always been how it hanldes on a controller. That "Forza feel", all the latest entries have been quite bad on a controller with small to no improvement between games. They always overdo it with assists even if you turn everything off to the point where there is no connection between you and the car, you can never be precise and all cars feel similar and mute. I was really hoping this one would be better.I’m not so much hoping he’s wrong, but recognizing he’s playing in a controller and literally the only one complaining about the physics at all. Here you can see the visuals are definitely a huge leap over 7 at least.
That side by side is massive!!
Does it have 120fps modes from launch? Drop the RT stuff etc for a mode and they should be able to add it later at least?
Ok, they've completely overhauled the physics and yet kept the same garbage parameters if it makes you feel better.OK mate, the video showing the vastly improved tyre physics is also nonsense is it? Imagine being so desperate you use windows central as a source, who next Jeff grubb, stevivor or xboxeraWindows central
Desperate for what? One person's opinion is not fact. The video showing improved physics is fact, you can type witless comments all night but the facts remain the same my simple friendImagine being so desperate you use windows central as a source, who next Jeff grubb, stevivor or xboxera
They already have a mode without raytracing and it's 60 4k.Does it have 120fps modes from launch? Drop the RT stuff etc for a mode and they should be able to add it later at least?
I've said it before and I'll say it again, MS need to purchase Kunos.
They dont have to touch it. Just publish the games in place of 505 and in turn they get to use the physics/simulation for future Forza Titles. Win win.
So not targeting 4k they should be able to add a closer to 120fps mode later then? They already have a mode without raytracing and it's 60 4k.

Windows central.
Doesn't look like a single sim racing content creator got to preview it, which tells me to keep my expectations in check. We already received the first blow with that multiplayer FPS lock.
Don't get me wrong, I REALLY hope it turns out to be good but I'd rather be delighted than disappointed.
People looking for realistic sim racing shouldn't be playing GT7 or Forza. There's always going to be that balance. Which is fine by me.Doesn't look like a single sim racing content creator got to preview it, which tells me to keep my expectations in check. In June 2022 they promised RT on Series S. Again it seems like they make the bold promises first and then figure out if they can actually keep them, later.
Yes that's what I thought, they can just say 'oh we meant photo mode, did you think we meant gameplay!' Plausible deniability, shady sales tactics and Turn 10 go hand in hand, unfortunately.
There was some talk that they have improved this element as well. Sorry don’t have too many details.Do we know if they improved replays yet from previous games? GT7 is the gold standard for having real TV-like replays, Forza's have always been more floaty and switches to the interior / bumper view too much for my liking.
Is this your first thread you reading on this forum. There is lots of shit posting in all exclusive game threads. Regardless is it Sony or MS game. Lots (not all) of negativity comes from users that don’t have Xbox or PC to play this game and have zero interest in Forza. So the game has full damage system ,raytracing, full time of day on all tracks , full weather system on all tracks vastly improved phsics yet people are still bitching here ?
What exactly does gt7 has in all of the things above ?
It just needs to have a strict ranked play with driver ratings and whatnot and we are golden
Does everything have to either be a conspiracy or shady?
That tweet certainly didn’t promise RT during gameplay on the Series S, and I’m skeptical you truly expected RT at 60fps on your 4TF box.
Still baffled how it’s a ‘shady sales tactic’ when they reveal the visual and performance modes well before release, and with ample time to cancel preorders.
I wouldn't have expected it, until they said it was coming. Surprise surprise, it isn't, but now it's my fault for expecting it, okay then.
The physics are completely overhauled, whomever that poster is referring to they don't seem to have a clue what they're talking about. From windows central.

How about watching the tyre physics video which shows the huge improvement, or you know wait to play it yourself?Sure. A professional SIM racer and real life racing driver doesn't know what he's talking about.
I'll discard his opinion and listen to someone who writes articles instead.
You only own a Series S do you buddy?I wouldn't have expected it, until they said it was coming. Surprise surprise, it isn't, but now it's my fault for expecting it, okay then.

I'm glad you can see improvements from a video, which obviously trumps someone's opinion that was actually playing the game. How about watching the tyre physics video which shows the huge improvement, or you know wait to play it yourself?
