Maybe she shouldn't climb a police van next time.

Feels pretty strange hear Morning Joe talk about Merkel as the center of attention and the leader.

Germany is emerging

Our reporters report that the kitas in the Schwenckestraße (between Osterstraße and Stellinger Weg) informed the parents that the police can no longer guarantee the safety of the children according to their own data. Parents can leave their children in the daycare - but then on their own responsibility.

In the children's playground St. Stephanus, the management was also informed by the police. The officials can not estimate the situation: too dangerous, because there are too many backyards

Did someone watching the N24 Stream make a gif of that Trump/chair scene? I was facepalming hard so I missed to do it.

edit explanation, The front row of the G20 table square was asked to turn around for a picture, of course Trump being the only one not getting it and being silly immediately.

Yeah today will be the most violent day since it's the Anarchists going wild, tomorrow should be calmer but with more people. I'll be participating tomorrow with some Dutch MPs and not today.

Some people have been stopped at the Dutch border though so I don't even know if I will be able to enter Germany tonight.

It is? What are you talking about?

Demonstration itself would be fine. The city has to ensure the safety and if possible traffic but within peaceful boundaries I'd be all for it.

I kinda don't see any real demonstration for any cause, though. Just rampage.

There were multiple peaceful ones, actually.

All the footage of Trump and Putin together is going to be historic - stuff we'll be seeing decades from now when they discuss the scandals around his presidency.

The tanks are by the police. Hamburg was first in Germany to buy one.

Oh I should have phrased it differently. I'm aware of that...The thing is, those stupid fucks overshadow all positive protest with their actions.

Yes, the media always focusses on the violence. Trust me I know, I was recently on a panel of iraqi womrn, who will never get any airtime, while the most recent attack in Baghdad will atleast get a mention in the mixed section before sports and weather.

Our representatives are going to protest there? What for?

For it to be real, Hamburg would require to call out State of Emegency. That hasn't happened yet.

I don't think the picture is real, but in case they are... These tanks are not from the police. Anything that is from the German Polizei, has a very strict color scheme and the words "POLIZEI" or "BUNDESPOLIZEI" have to be clearly visible. The police is not allowed to even operate an army tank, let alone rocking the army tint.
