Ether's production is so bad. I'm sure not a lot of you would want to listen to the instrumental. But, Nas managed to make it so hype with that lethal Queensbridge lyrical venom.

And that Jay verse sounded like someone that was trying to save face. He spent half of the track pointing his finger going, "Bububut NAS IS A LIAR YALL! I donated to charity, towards the space race, to give every child cupcakes in schools, and I cured Cancer. Yall can't say NAS did."

Damn near most of the ROC soldiers had harder verses than him throughout that beef.

You're missing the point. It was calling Nas out on his whole career being a laughable compromise between artistic supremacy and pithy vies for commercial success, i'm not surprised you're not seeing the phenomenal way jigga highlight's the hypocrisy of Nas's entire steez.

I already know Nas is one of the biggest hypocrites in Hip Hop and always has been. It's a battle though and Jay got made a spectacle of in ridiculous fashion. I can spit from an encyclopedia, but if the other person makes me salty to the point where I can't compose myself on radio, then he did a better job of giving me that L. Eminem did truth ether the correct way to Benzino and anyone else.

Besides, Nas pretty much said all that needed to be said on the diss before Ether. Hov is a hypocrite with money as much as Nas is without.

It's like when a girl calls you a name. Some people will be all like "oh son EVEN that girl called you weak sauce" but men will just shake their head knowing that she could get fucking stomped into paste but it ain't socially acceptable. Except this time it's because Drake is bringing in that white teenage girl money and everybody wants to ride that train while it's still profitable. Common is just saying the same shit we all been saying, and suddenly he's a hater. Nah. Just being truthful to his detriment, like he always done

And despite a few corny lines in dollaz n sense, quik deserves credit for ending mc eiht's career with a single line in that song.

And regardless of how you feel about 50, the wanksta/back down combo escorted Ja Rule right out the fucking down of hip hop.

Going old school, KRS ending Shan's career, LL doing the same to Kool Moe Dee...man it's been too long since we had a good beef where someone's career is truly on the line.

Asher is great when he puts some energy into his music. There were segments of Pabst and Jazz that were good, and others that were down right snooze inducing. Like, he gave no fucks when he recorded in that monotone ass voice. I can listen to Curren$y muse about whatever and it sounds livelier than the lows of that mixtape.

That song Asher has with Action Bronson is dope.
