Got some essential links?I forget if I've already said it here but Bay Area hiphop is like a treasure trove of music. So many unique styles putting the listener up on West Coast "game" with "mob" influenced songs and songs with crossover appeal that don't at all sound contrived or corny.
Catching up on all these classics I missed and I see why they're called such.
When it comes to the Bay Area I mostly listened to stuff from Zion I, Grouch & Eligh to E-40. Everything from boom-bap to hyphy. Around 2006, I think, there was a small Hyphy trend for a few months. I remember playing Mista F.A.B. - Ghost Ride It at parties with my homies back in the days.
