On the topic of Jay-Z. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but he only has one classic album which is Reasonable Doubt. He has one other good album, which is The Black Album. The Blueprint is extremely overrated with only one truly great song(The Takeover). Everything else is pure meh. Jay is a great rapper but doesn't have enough imo to be top 10 even.
Reasonable Doubt though is fucking amazing. I love the cocky mob boss character Jay has in that, cause he pulls it off perfectly. Even though it had by far the worst skits I've ever heard(the acting and dialoge before Brooklyn's Finest is horrifying), it is the only reason why I can understand why someone would call Jay his favorite rapper. And it's not even the best Mafioso rap album(OB4CL bitches).

I used to drunkenly get in the middle of fights when I was younger and try to separate people, even strangers. After working as a doorman I don't do that anymore. I saw too many people get badly fucked up trying to play peacemaker when a fist or bottle or something worse meant for someone else hit them because they were in the way trying to be gandhi.

Just listened to HnC all the way through. Then I did it again. And a 3rd time. It's crazy but Q, Soul and Kendrick may be my top 3 of the year.
HnC is borderline top 5. GKMC and Control System are undoubtedly top 3. My other tops are RAP Music, Baby Face Killa, Live From the Underground, 1999, West1996... all considerations. And this is just a short list. There has been so much good shit this year.
Edit: I actually think 4evaNaDay was better than LFtU, but since the latter was the label release we are forced to represent KRIT with that, right?

I agree that MMG has an inconsistent selection of beats. A lot of times they don't stick out to me. I think dreams and nightmares has good production though.
They really do have a certain chemistry, I would kill for a collaborative album with those two.
There is no dream album with a 2012 DJ Premier participating.
