The album was okay. Nothing special, it was okay. I am happy to see it sell though. Rap fans need there to be money made from the music or there will be less and less money put into it.

Looking at the order alone is interesting and depressing. 75k for Curren$y is amazing, but stuff like 321k for Tyga is surprising to me, I didn't know people liked dude like that, and at the same time I'm wondering how much he's making back outta that vs. what Spitta is getting.

Even that stuff (spitta vs tyga) is kinda hard to judge. If Tyga was dropped from YMCB tomorrow, he would not be eating six months into 2013. WB could drop Curren$y tomorrow and he'd still find ways to make the cash plus im sure he's a lot smarter about his money in the long run.
But that stems from the kinda artists they are. Tyga needs singles, club plays, radio plays etc to eat. Curren$y can drop an album, guaranteed stan support and then go tour (even small club/venue) off it. Tyga cannot do this. He doesn't have the base for this. Dudes like Tyga need either a strong local scene or label backing to thrive and we all know nothing about Tyga is not local (he is not from compton).
