Maybe, but at this point if I don't allow guests and other people into the party then we are sitting at 6 dudes at my house playing Rock Band together.

The social dynamic of people that vaguely know each other online meeting in person sounds juicy.

Add to that the fact that it'll be a mix of normal people with some weirdos...except nobody can tell who's who.

Well its the internet, you can't blame people for being a little skeptical. But still, I think its a wonderful idea, and if I had anyway of making it, I'd be there.

I waded through this whole thread to suggest this to you. You should probably just throw a party with reliable friends and privately invite a handful of GAFers. If GAFers bail, who cares, you still have a party. If they come, new friends are made, they vouch for you not being a serial murderer and vice versa, larger GAF attendance for the next party.

True, but I want to keep the base of it still gaffers. So GAF peeps and their friends are cool. Of course any chicks too, just to make things more interesting. :)


I'm guessing some people will want to stay nameless (not connected to their GAF name) So nametags should be a no-go right? And who the fuck wants to wear a nametag at a party?

Updated OP, about 20 people could possibly be coming now.

(going off PM's and facebook inboxs only, if you said you were coming in this thread but haven't PM'd me yet, then I'm not taking you seriously and I will not send you my address when that time comes unless you contact me through AIM, Facebook, GAF pm, etc.).

I really REALLY want to live stream this thing, anyone interesting in bringing a laptop and the other equipment necessary to make this happen? Would be awesome.

Do people really want this? Seems like a good way to start a lot of drama and junk. I agree in someways it would be awesome, but explaining it to some guests would be hard.

Edit: Thanks man for explaining that, I thought I made it clear enough by updating the OP with it. :p

And yes Apple-GAF can come lol.

Would love to come to this, but can't really as I'm on the East Coast and it would be too much trouble to get out to the West Coast. Good to see that it might actually happen though, can't wait to hear about the results.

I want to, but I don't have the equipment to do it (laptop, webcam, etc.). I'm hoping someone is generous enough to bring something like that so we can put it in the main area and life stream it for the rest of GAF. :)
