so sansa can either:

- marry a gay guy who obviously has no interest
- marry an ugly dwarf who also has no interest
- flee with an old creep who likes her because she looks like her mom, possibly get raped along the way.

and she got replaced by the king for a much older women, man she must feel like the belle of the ball.

I want her to marry Tyrion and them to form some sort of badass team.

...I just want Tyrion to be part of a badass team again, all Bronn does is fuck and whine about pay :(

Did they (Catelyn) promise all the Stark children to the Frays? If they did, surely this does not bode well for Arya, seeing as the Brotherhood is taking her to Robb. Will she get married off?

EDIT: I have just made myself very upset with that thought. :(

shiiiiiiiiiiiit. I totally forgot about this.

Hold on, friend! I'd love to share with you some swell news about the Windows 8 Metro UI! Wait, where are you going?
I thought after last week, that this weeks episode would be a bit of a damp squid. I thought wrong.

Tywin was a boss, as usual. I look forward to every scene he's in. He executes a verbal smackdown like no other.

I almost thought we'd see Ned brought back to life as a result of Arya's conversation with the brotherhood without banners. This god of light dude is one powerful being, but I guess thats what being a god brings.

Still not liking Ygritte. And I have to admit I kinda reeled back when she got naked, the girl looked malnourished. Loved their conversation after though, Jon's clearly a cunning linguist.

Jamies got guts, withstanding that operation. There's a joke here involving Surgeon Simulator but I can't quite put it together.

Sansa is swimming with sharks, and Littlefinger just went from untrustworthy to flat out dangerous. That girl is gonna get reamed, but it won't be her intended that does that.

The two dead Lannister boys were unfortunate casualties of war. No puns on that one, the whole situation is sad. Westeros is a cruel, hard place. Rob's heart is in the right place but I think he made a mistake killing Karstark. We'll see what happens with Casterly Rock.

Jamie and Brienne's conversation was riveting. There's a far more to Jamie than meets the eye, but he's still an asshole.

Great episode.

Damp squib.

I'm pretty sure Robb hurt his hand while killing Rickard Karstark...

Two takes focus on his hand right after he killed him. Would that be the Curse? Get his hand screwed up so he can't fight?

I found it strange that we didn't get anything about it on the next scene with the Foreign Lady.

I wonder if the hand zooming was supposed to have other effect that I didn't get, for instance, to show his anger...

I just took it as pure anger. It felt like he was about to punch the headless corpse lol.

I miss the Greyjoys. :(

Team Lannister. And Dany.

They have by far the most interesting characters.

The House of Stark? More like House of Boring. Jon, Robb and Brann are so damn dull. Arya is OK.

Yeah, dude needs to get his house in order. There's some vile stuff going on in there... BTW Stannis could also find a great career in baby seal clubbing. He just ripped right into his daughter's heart without flinching.

I LOVED the sword fight at the beginning of the episode. Felt really visceral and well coreographed. I was kind of awed that I was seeing something so cool on TV. He reminded me of Gwyn from Dark Souls for obvious reason.

I wish I could get more into the war stuff though. I honestly have a hard time telling what the hell is happening in the war. It just feels like this vague thing that's happening on the side that people talk about. For some reason the Robb Stark stuff is my least favorite story thread.

All the Jamie and Briane stuff has been great too.

Considering how bad his guys treated Brienne and Jamie, and possibly his bastard torturing Theon, Lord Bolton seems like a good guy.

When Tywin retires will Jaime take over as Hand of the King?

Seeing how Jaime is the heir it would seem natural for Tywin to hand him the position.

After rewatching episode 4, i'm starting to understand things a little better now. So the same guys who have the king slayer, have the iron born kid? The one who killed the two kids and pretended they were starks?

I have a hard time hating on Jamie anymore. Yeah, he tossed Bran out of a window when he got caught banging his sister. (and looking at Cercei, can't really blame the guy).

Really like the actor as well, the talent level on this show is so high, but the Lannisters are all amazing.

I think Jaime is a member of the kings guard, which is for life.

So was Ser Barristan. Couldn't they remove him if they wanted? I mean he obviously can't fight now, wouldn't Tywin want him to carry Lannister forward now?

Dismiss Jaime from the Kings Guard, marry him off to some high lords daughter, and make him return to Casterly Rock as heir. He probably wants this, which is why he was so upset at Tyrion for asking him for it.

The king would have to decide that, not Tywin.

We don't know who has Theon.

Possibly. Sort of.

It's possible that the Boltons have Theon, since that's who Robb sent to take back Winterfell. It would be Bolton's bastard, though. Jaime is being held by Roose Bolton who's at Harrenhal.

So while the same family might have them, it's not known whether they're on the same page or anything like that. They're rather far away from each other.

Isn't Tywin basically acting King lol? When even Tyrion and Cersei are scared shitless of Tywin, I can't see Joffrey getting upset at taking orders.

I'm still waiting for when he says he'll stop Joffrey from doing what he likes. I love that little shit getting put in his place.
