I remember for a while, book readers in particular kept saying they could put the show on hold for a year or two to give time for George to catch up with the books, and in that time they'd do Robert's Rebellion.

It was never going to happen, "nothing stops this train" and all.

Oh lord, I would lose my mind waiting years without advancing the series.

Ugh, I would love to see a prequel mini-series covering Robert's Rebellion.

I'm sure it'll happen eventually. HBO will want to keep cashing in on GoT after the series finishes. But I think it'll be next decade with all the actors played by different people.
