That is not at all how I pictured him, :lol.

I pictured him somewhat along the lines of the art in the ASOIAF wikia/TV Tropes.

Rickon & Osha, The Brotherhood without Banners, The Freys, Littlefinger, Yara's rescue party, Balon. Who else haven't we checked in with yet?

There's Gendry I guess, but I'm not sure why we would ever see him again. Blackfish is roaming around somewhere too. And then there's Edmure, poor Edmure. No one gives a fuck that he's rotting in a Frey dungeon.

The detective work on here concerning last episode reminded me of when detective-gaf was on the case of True Detective. Will the necklace thing turn out to be a red herring like
the flower painting was in True Detective
? Who knows, but they better not leave me hanging another week till I find out.

Gendry is travelling with the Brotherhood now isn't he?

Melisandre bought him from The Brotherhood and used his kingly blood to curse the Robb, Joffrey, and Balon Greyjoy. She planned to have him executed but Davos freed him and put him on a boat.

I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
So over the past few weeks I watched through all of GoT on HBO Go and now that I'm caught up I have to wait once a week for an episode like some sort of savage. Anyways what time should the episode be available on HBOGO?

Last week they said it should be available an hour after airing.

Usually you can watch it simultaneously as it airs, but demand was so high on the first episode of this season that it crashed their servers, so they delay by an hour now.

Apparently that was a lie to get people to spread themselves out.

That's what I assumed, or did I misinterpret things?

Do you mean the scene where he's sat with Sansa in Season 3 when they think they're going to get married?

That scene is awkward is fuck, because Loras is gay and knows it isn't going to work. He realises that Sansa senses the awkwardness and turns the conversation towards Highgarden.

He is friendly, he likes her a friend.

Yeah they did say it would be delayed by an hour, but then the episode was apparently available right at 9 Eastern.

For people watching on HBO GO, I'd say check right at/a few minutes after 9 Eastern, but don't start flipping tables if it's not up right away.

Just rewatched that scene on YT. For the life of me, I don't remember that scene. I just assumed that Loras was as almost as happy as Sansa about their "wedding".

No, and you'll notice he responds in the same way regarding his wedding to Cersei.

Tonight's the night we see Littlefinger again! Don't let me down HBO. I know he's fucking in on it. If not, I refuse to admit I was wrong. Obviously Olenna was in on it but Littlefinger HAS to be in on it as well. It's just sounds so much like him and he's been mysteriously absent. No one messes with "his" Catelyn.

Makes little sense to avenge Catelyn for what Tywin did by going after Joffrey. I'm sure most (if not all) of the Lannisters are equal parts grieving and relieved the little shit is gone.

Well he did lie to Catelyn about them having Arya so, I don't think he gives a fuck anymore.

I agree.

When any shit goes down in Westeros, you know Littlefinger or Varys are going to be involved, and Littlefinger has been MIA rather conveniently as of late.

Plus he knows the Lannisters' accounts better than anyone, and Olenna Tyrell hinted to Tywin that the Lannisters are running out of money, so maybe he's spotted an opportunity to grab some power and money while the Lannisters are weak.

Littlefinger could easily orchestrate an Everyone vs Lannisters war, after brokering an alliance between the Tyrells, Tullys and the Martells.

The last we saw of Gendry he was rowing away from Dragonstone in a boat, having never been in one before and not knowing how to swim.

Davos told him to head for King's Landing.

Melisandre bought him from The Brotherhood and used his kingly blood to curse the Robb, Joffrey, and Balon Greyjoy. She planned to have him executed but Davos freed him and put him on a boat.

I completely forgot the series of events that led to that.

I don't see where everyone's getting this "Littlefinger is conveniently absent" thing.

We know where he is, he's set off to the Eyrie to bring Lysa Tully into the fold. In fact he set off last Season in episode 6 on his ship and left Sansa devastated.

Tywin might be running the show but Joffrey is King and that creates a lot of turmoil if he suddenly dies by a mysterious plot. Look how the Lannisters fell apart from it already by blaming Tyrion. Who knows what else they will do now. Littlefinger also wants Sansa Stark to use for his own gain in the North so it was two-fold. Vengeance for a lot of things, creating turmoil, allowing him to take Sansa who is of more worth now.

Olenna gets to take out a King that is too unpredictable and can possibly marry off Margaery to Tommen making them look even better to the people but also keeping her prized political possession (Margaery) safer than before because even if she could manipulate Joffrey quite a bit, you could never completely tame a beast of that nature. Tommen will be easier to control since he's not as crazy and he's even younger.

I think Catelyn wasn't the REAL reason behind it, just a little motivation. He loved her and surely would be angry with the news, but mostly this gives him a chance to take over the North with all the others dead even if this takes a very long time while they build up at The Vale.

He's a major character that suddenly disappeared in the middle of his own plots? And do you think The Vale is his end goal? He's always wanted more and it's just another move in his own Game of Thrones. This assassination has his name written all over it because of how under-handed it is. Oberyn would never do something as low as this.

You don't have a guy like that just randomly say goodbye to the show when his ambitions are well known. If I'm wrong, oh well. But I think he's involved but at the very least, I do think he's mysteriously absent regardless. The North has a huge opening now and Littlefinger sees an opportunity in the future. I don't think he'd be satisfied with the Boltons taking over the North.

But we haven't seen him on screen, so we have no idea what he's actually been up to.

And he clearly has ulterior motives to gain power and influence since he originally wanted to take Sansa with him since she was the key to the North, but Varys, Tyrells and later the Lannisters cockblocked him, so we can expect that he will at least be planning his next move.

Exactly. I just see Lysa Tully as a stepping stone to Littlefinger's ultimate goal. He's not going to go there and be content with that life after all he's said and done in the past.

He went there for a reason no doubt, but that doesn't mean he just disappears from the show for a long time considering how important he was in the past.

How do you know? He was introduced two episodes ago.

And you can't tell after two episodes but also 3 previous seasons of discussion about honor and how poison is the most cowardly and shameful ways of dealing with an enemy? After two episodes, I don't think Oberyn is the type to do something so shameful when he's been so up-front about his hatred of the Lannisters and insulting them to their faces. I mean, he assaulted two Lannisters right in front of Tyrion yet he's going to do something shameful like poisoning Joffrey? That doesn't sound like a noble warrior to me.

He's a warrior so why would he poison them? Do you think he would do something so cowardly? He wants the entire Lannister family to suffer by his hands, not Joffrey with poison.
