Gaming Nexus calls out Gigabyte over faulty PSUs. Then gets a really really bad response. Steve burns them out publicly

Seriously, what the fuck are these guys doing?

Steve helped expose their incompetence with this video:

Then Gigabyte puts out an absolutely LOL-worthy response. Steve's response to their response is hilarious:

Yes, Steve and GN are really doing consumers a great job here.
Honestly Gigabyte was one of the more reliable and solid brands for many years but past few years they've really gone downhill.

I've had 2 x570 Master boards fail, One completely dying during use.

I won't be using them for anything going forward... Same with MSI after what they did with scalping 3000 series cards under a different name on eBay.

There is a lot of bad practice in the PC space it's refreshing when people like Steve call these fuckers out.

Their 3080 is shit quality as well

Cannot watch videos right now. Somebody could please summarize?

This, but Steve was more Steve about it.

That is disappointing. I've used Gigabyte in the past and been very happy with the quality. My current motherboard is Gigabyte's X570. Works great.

But this response is horrible. It is easy to be in business when everything is working great. When shit goes sideways, then you find out what folks are made of. What they thought they were going to accomplish with this response to Steve, no idea. Just pathetic. Makes me less likely to be a Gigabyte customer in the future, that much is certain.

You guys still sour about that mid range PC from 5 years ago comment?

What's that about again?

In his ps5 120fps video he compared ps5s 120fps performance to a mid range PC from 5 years ago. GN quickly became disliked on GAF

Meh....PC guy taking a shot at consoles. Console guys give as much as they get. Either way, Steve is an awesome resource for the PC community and one flippant comment doesn't change that.

Was it though? I don't think that conclusion was unanimous.

I watched the video and I don't see the problem. His analysis was focused on 1080p 120fps and nothing more. So this was clearly aimed at PC gamers as that is the preferred resolution and frame rate. As long as his comparison of consoles to "mid to high end PC" is in that context then it is fine. The games he demonstrated clearly made that point.

Well you know people here can be pretty defensive of their favorite box.
