I will probably be downloading this on Game pass so I'm not included but 1 million players out of how many subscribers, those are good metrics and analytics but I would rather know how many total sales versus that.

Strictly in the sense of knowing what the ratios are with these games that are on the subscription.

The same goes for any other service like PlayStation Network over the piece of shit Nintendo service which kinda rings a bell.

For real though hopefully this gets the ports and remasters of 2 & 3 underway and we can do same day across all platforms now. Think this release was just for PlayStation fans to get into the title before the new release.

I feel like this hasn't launched to huge numbers on ps5. Only 1 of my friends out of 200 have played this. Forza is far higher and was at launch too. I'm surprised given the 40 dollar price. Maybe this series doesn't have big hype anymore. Halo will be much bigger.

1 million players after a few days, when giving out free upgrades, having it on gamepass, and having it on Steam and PlayStation for the first time sounds pretty low to me.

I want to play it but I can't get over how beautiful the game looks now. That isn't a compliment, BTW, lol. Where is all the grunge, amazing rain fx and the foreboding emulsion caves? Everything just looks too bright, cheery and alive. That's not how the events of E-day looked on the Xbox 360 version. The rain in particular is so jarring. It literally looks like GTA DE's rain. It's too bright and it does a weird sway effect when you move.

honestly I wonder how big it even is on GamePass? I imagine a lot of Xbox fans (like myself) bought Ultimate back in the day before GamePass was even a thing and we were all given a free upgrade

Why are Xbox even posting about what is essentially a patch (for Xbox Xbox and Xbox PC) and port (for Xbox PS5) of an Xbox remaster from 2015 of an Xbox game from 2006

I'm a little tempted to pick it up on Steam when it's down to $10 on Black Friday because it's been well almost 20 years since I've run through the OG Gears of War campaign and it would be fun to do it before E-Day

As long as people keep using Steam CCU as their entire basis for the success or failure of a game, then I consider it fair game for any gamepass game to use high playercount as a success story.
