I think he's cool. One of the best non weeby designs plus amazing moves. He could easily be a 5☆ if MiHo worked a little bit on his design/presentation. Make him more mature or more feral(wolverine like), more cool looking in general. Now he's a little too grey.

While I was going to give it a shot either way, I'm not exactly eager to jump back into another Chinese-produced gacha. The precedent has been set at a high bar now, so what's to stop spoiled baby CN players from demanding shit from all of their natively developed games and threatening to ruin the developer otherwise. MHY is massive in comparison to most of these developers, and they bent the knee.
The more garbage I hear about the gacha the more I'm happy I play DFFOO on the side. I play it more then Genshin. Think I only come for Genshin for the big events now.

Total damage factors in all other damage calculation and does extra damage based on the total damage you would have done after total ATK - Resistances of the enemy. Physical attack bonus just gives an extra multiplier for physical attack type damage (non elemental in other words). "Normal Attack Damage" means it only counts damage caused by Normal attacks (your usual combo), elemental or not. This excludes elemental skills, elemental bursts, charge attacks, and plunge attacks.
The problem was that in CN, whaling on gacha is a status symbol instead of a point of shame like in the west. It shows you're well off enough to frivolously throw money at a game and then you can lord it over others. Couple that with CN being their largest market by far (user and dollar wise) and I see why it might force their hand from a business standpoint. Still fucked up though and I will not excuse it.
Yea they're a full patch ahead of GL/SEA/JP, and I think SEA/JP have staggered dates too.

When people go that far, I can't blame them but it sucks major ass that there's that level of crazy and entitlement. That is why I'm half glad that Genshin is simultaneous in its release that it prevents that, but it's a shame it has to be thought about it like that where one region can't enjoy a specific event catered to them.Welp, only one more piece of furniture to complete this web event. I wasted some materials early on before I had all of the recipes, but oh well. Looks like the last two "tier" rewards give us a free piece of furniture in 1.5, so it's probably worth doing if you haven't yet.
I've done some thinking about the situation with MHY and their CN playerbase, and I think I'll continue to play Genshin. After finding out all of the info, it's still super shitty that they screwed GL so bad, BUT with the CN babies as bad as they are, with death threats, threats to ruin the company's social credit score, etc, I kinda get it. Either way, I'm done spending for a while until I see how all of this plays out. No Welkins, no BP. I also sent some feedback, which I'm sure will go right into the trash, but what else can you do.
There's talk of them creating a HQ in the US or at least out of China. I think that's a good step in the right direction, and MHY has generally been pretty fair in the past, so we'll see where it goes.
