Absolutely. At least for me. And general public too People actually research and FOLLOW meta for a reason.

How meta can be a meta if it actually can't be reproduced? In such case it's just a hero/team showcase with big numbers and nothing else. It's like saying that this:

I think it's nice for people that enjoy playing less-popular characters like Kokomi and Rosaria, it gives them an option to use them and play at a high level.

Definitely. It's a shame teams like this are only figured out after the fact. Some people might have pulled for Kokomi if they knew she could be used like this. Now they'll have to wait at least half a year for her to pop up again, and at that point who knows what the state of the game is. They really should shorten the length of their rerun banners so they can fit three in each patch.

And heroes wouldn't feel as special anymore. For example people are fucking drooling(and for a good reason) over Cocogoat re-run.

Plus, it doesn't make sense to them from a financial perspective if F2P players will be able to comfortably C3 or C6 top tier heroes by saving up some primos in between the re-run banners.

In most cases it's because figuring out something niche like that takes a lot of time and (in case of GI) financial resources.

How many people cared about Kokomi to pull for her? And for Kaz? And for Ayaka WITH her sword? Not many.

How many of said people are interested in the actual under the hood mechanics to even bother with testing?

Most whales pull for C6 and R5 and quietly built closet shrines for their waifus while enjoying big numbers regardless of the game mechanics.

Plus, such weird/hard to achieve comps would not produce enough clicks and discussions/ attempts to replicate etc. It's always gonna be a niche thing and niche things take time to reresearch.

It's similar to the meme heroes builds research like main DD Barbie or phys DMG Electric Cat.

Nice things to have/know , but ultimately such research projects isnt worthy of efforts for the majority of the playerbase.

My guess is that for whatever reason, they want to continue to allow the public to beta/playtest their characters. I'm sure they have some internal control team that does the bare minimum testing and bugs (but even then how did they release Sara in her release state?), but we've seen some real stinkers the past few months due to the way they playtest their new characters.

That said, this should be a feature for the 'trial" fights we get when a new banner drops. Let us build our own teams, play around with stuff etc. Instead, they just give us a roided out character with increased energy recharge across the board and let us fight the perfect enemies to make the damage look even better. It's more of a marketing tool currently than a "try before you buy" scenario, which sucks.

On the flip side, thanks to that did start/catch up on the event. It reminds me of Misty Dungeon so it's fun and makes more use of the Inazuma special domains. Shikigami/Onmyoudo lore is nice to read, too.

Because constellations is very hard to get and people save up for new upcoming heroes. If there's a constant flow of re-runs MiHo will probably start losing money.

There's a very big chance that they simply can't because they lack an expertise/ prefer to stick to the most obvious path with every released hero.

Look what happened with Geo Lord's release. MiHo was obviously surprised by the players reaction. They thought that he was perfectly fine in his 1.0 version.

Same goes for Kokomi. During her and Baal pre-release hype people were VERY vocal about her potential problems. Yet MiHo still proceeded to release her in her sorry state that she's now.

Like with any game demo it will lead to the lost sales, so they prefer to release heroes the way they invisioned them and move on to the next batch without wasting resources on balancing / deep guides creation.

I don't think the event story has warranted Xinyan's role much. Sara being the other main probably would have worked, but Childe's presence is carrying it (I can't believe I said that).

If they wanted some comic relief/kind hearted partner for Tart, why not use YMY? Probably because they can't give out her for free as an event reward. But do people really care that much about free Xinyan? I'd rather get some extra purple books and better event lore/character interaction.

They shouldn't shy away from using any tier character. Shiki Taishou also offers enough comic relief so the more loosened Sara could have worked or why not give Ayaka or as you said Yoimiya a chance? since they had a difficult position where they didn't have a role in the 2nd half of the main story.

it's not that I don't like the event story, just could be bit better with these adjustments. Even Beidou could have worked if they really wanted a Liyue character involved.

He's been irrelevant ever since we beat his ass and the revelation he was used by La Signora to get Zhongli's gnosis peacefully. He's a clown that no one takes seriously, not even his own colleagues. No matter how much the game tells us he's strong and relevant to the story, it ain't working. Not on me anyway.

Also, I just wanna say how relieved I am to know that the Inazuman paper talisman magic found it origin with... the Adepti in Liyue! OMG did you just say Liyue??? I'm gonna cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum

I dunno, Tart explains why he's really there at the end, which moved the overarching story ahead at least. But yea, they really are hammering on the key character traits a little too much with this event.

I thought that the origin of Onmyou part was hilarious too. We can't stop wanking Liyue for 5 minutes in this game.

Damage control is what makes weak will people play their holes as white knights, even when they don't even notice(or are too dumb to notice).

eg:

-You already got what you wanted, what you want more?
- It's free, why are you even complaining(this one is extremelly common)
- You're entitle
- Fans toxic
- Victimhood
- Blameshift. Feedback deemed as a "harsh attitude" that shouldn't be aimed at [insert the name of person or sector]. Best example is people complaining at feedback, arguing that "is not the fault of the guy who picks the feedback, hes just doing his job".

I still have the last one to run today. I need like 10 of the xp books and the mora, otherwise shop and Xinyan is cleared. I'm going to clear it regardless since I like the event and the lore lines that shiki taishou drops, but idk if there's anything actually worthwhile for clearing the whole thing.

I'm trying to emulate this setup. My Eula CR went down about 2% when I switched to 2pc/2pc. CD stayed the same due to poor roles. Don't really have any CD alternatives though.

Looks like a simple nuke build. There should be no difference in between 89% or 100% C.Rate for such BIG NUMBERS NUKE build. C.Dmd is way more important. Building stacks on that claymore is also pretty important. Same goes for refining it. R5 SS is straight .
