From some of the early impressions, it looks like Ganyu is pretty strong. Setting her up with an energy recharge bow like the Favonious Warbow will let you spam her ult, which last a long time and has a huge AOE field.
It's also interesting that the 2nd stage of her charged shot doesn't need to hit an enemy to trigger the cryo AOE damage (you can aim at the ground to trigger), so you don't need to be all that accurate.

Where did you see the impressions? The only thing I saw so far was a megawhale on CN server with C6 killing Dvalin and Childe with her, but with the god rolls on his artifacts you could do it with Amber or Diona. I don't think he even used her Burst at all, just charged shots at his neck spike.

Chongyun is alright for a Cryo but the only other good Cryo are both 5*.

Ganyu is a Rocket Launcher. Her high base attack and high damage even with "okay" artifacts is ridiculous.
Along with the fact at C0 after a few ascensions she can get +20% Cryo dmg and Crit chance for free. 60% crit with the Cryo set.
C1 will give enemies a Cryo -15% RES debuff. And 2 energy per Lvl2 Charge shot.
C4 gives the Burst a increasing damage increase starting from 5% and capping at 25%.
Out of the gate this nobody secretary is very good and busted if completely whaled out.
I think I'll switch gears and pull for her and hope I can max out Noelle as well.
The 100% uptime of her Burst out of the gate is a gamechanger for me.
Looking forward to my Childe + Ganyu comp.

Yeah gonna spend the primos i had horded untill i pull her. And if im lucky i get some Noelles and Xianglings as i use them in my team, this banner is like the perfect banner for me. Almost anithing i get will be usefull for my team.
Demone is the youtuber i have been following since launch, hes a great content creator. I was following him before when he did Epic Seven content as well.

Frozen Timmie tears should have been one of her ascension materials. I wouldn't mind farming those.

Dunno, played it for close to 1 and a half years then droped it. I had a crazy amount of characters in that game and still a huge amount of gems horded. But the Light and Dark characters was hard to get and kinda turned me off. I was also in a stage that all i had left to do was farming and do events when they appeared. Droped it when Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross came out, that i also just droped it last week. Sticking just with Genshin Impact now.
And Mission CocoGOAT Complete!
Still have 20k primos left that i will keep hording for the next banner that might interest me. F2P Life!

So I spent my 8000+primogems to try and get Ganyu...
I got Qiqi instead! Not too bad. Kinda sad that my Amos' Bow is just gonna sit there for a while, but Qiqi is one of the characters I actually wanted, so not too bad. Hopefully I can now save my gems and next pity for a character that I might want more badly than Ganyu.

Sucks, but not the worst that could happen. If you want a real feeling of power, level her up and give her that dragonspine sword in dragonspine. I only wish she had a unique charge attack with an effect like Jean.
(sacrificial sword is her real BiS weapon, if you have that)

Just tried her... actually not bad, the energy regeneration from her assigned bow makes her burst on for 100% of the time. Actually more than 100% 'cause I was able to cast it before it expired. I also always liked the baron bunny taunt, so I like her flower ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡ °) too. She seems strong enough, but she obviously has all the problems related to bows and she's "just" there to facilitate reactions. Switch in, burts, switch out.
The water trap, on the other hand, sucks ass.
All in all, I don't like her (hate waifus+not that useful for me), I'd like to beef up Noelle and see if it's true she's op, but I'd need 5 copies, so this banner is an easy skip for me.
