I have been smoking once a week for the past year. I never smoked alone and always smoked with a friend. Usually we play games and chill.

The last 2 month I have been smoking alone. Not that much, just to get a casual high and play COD / FIFA and watch series. I don't roll them myself and buy them for 2 euro each.

I never smoke before work or when I have appointments. I know my responsibilities and make sure it does not effect them. It doesn't effect my work or social life.

I feel like its not normal to smoke everyday and want to know how you guys feel about it.

I don't think whether it's normal is the right question or not. Personally I don't think it's in any way helpful to my lifestyle to smoke every day. If you smoke weed infrequently I find there are particular benefits (a mood lift lasting a couple of days or so after), and I generally feel a little bit more mentally clear if anything. But if I smoke every day that disappears and I just start experiencing a lot of mind fog, and the more noteworthy effects that I appreciated before become less substantial. I'm sure other people will disagree, but if you're not using cannabis to treat something in particular, a better and more sustainable schedule is once every week or two weeks imo. But it took me a few years to figure that out for myself. I think another alternative might be microdosing (or not 'getting high' but aiming for threshold doses) but that seems trickier and I can't really speak to it personally. But in general I don't think actually getting acutely high every day is very useful or productive.

Are you feeling guilty? Would you judge someone for having a couple beers every night after work or school? I think the better question for you is: do you want your tolerance to cannabis to increase? After a while, you'll want to take a tolerance break to prevent yourself from spending a larger percentage of your disposable income on your joints to chase the high of smoking sporadically.

Since your new to cannabis, I think you're going through what most of us have gone through. You'll find your equilibrium. As long as you're happy with your life and can continue to self regulate your intake to where you can still take care of your responsibilities, I think you're doing just fine

Very well started. My usage fluctuates with my illness, so I manage it with microdosing to heavily medicating depending on the day. I have friends all across the board on usage. At my age (43), my friends who use cannabis, manage to their intake to match their professional careers. Some can consume daily (even at work), while others partake on weekends.

Enjoying some nice Alaska Thunder Fuck, vaping a cartridge. It is supposed to be energizing, but it nicely slows me down to relax. And it really has a noticeable "hit", 20-30 min after I have a few puffs, "woosh".

Got myself an eighth of dank OG Kush and another eighth of Amnesia Haze for £50. Proper eighths, too, full 3.5s. Good job my guy is a friend of a good friend of mine and not just some random dealer. It's common to get around 1.6/.8 in an "eighth" around here, so yeah, I lucked out.

That's awful dude :(

Makes me really appreciate even something like being able to get a medical card (I was living in Seattle when legalization was voted in but moved back to California a month before you could actually buy it in a store so I missed out on that kind of accessibility.)

Finally got around to buying myself a Crafty, it should be coming within the next 3-4 days. Can't wait to try it after all the praise I've heard.

Good riddance (almost) combustion smoking.

So...vaping. My Crafty came today and holy shit I should've bought one of these months ago. I read a lot about how vaping can't get you as high as smoking a joint or a pipe and I guess that put me off somewhat, that and the high price for a decent vaporizer just making me want to buy weed with the money instead. I just tested this thing and I used less than I would in a single pipe bowl yet I'm a little higher, and the ABV weed is barely even light brown. :O

And the type of high is different too, it feels much cleaner and less groggy. I was kinda worried about this being what people meant when they said that vaping doesn't get you as high, but now that I've tried it I much prefer the vape high and definitely wouldn't call it weaker, quite the opposite, it's just different. My mind isn't as busy/fuzzy right now as it usually is when using a pipe, which is allowing me to focus and enjoy my high more. I also don't feel sleepy, nor do I have that heavy feeling behind my eyes either, which is great.

Seriously, if you're on the fence about switching to vaping...just do it. A better high, better for you, and is way more efficient. Just make sure you pay for a decent one.

Whats the consensus on the safest way to smoke?(for lung health)

Bong vs pipe vs joint..

The bong feels the least harsh out of the three, but is the huge puff of smoke worse for my lungs than the harsh joint paper or pipe?

Obvious question, but alas I shall ask anyway.

I've been smoking with my MFLB daily for a few months, and this weekend decided I would sober myself up for the weekend for my sister's wedding. Well, now after 2 hits, I'm super high. IS that typical from breaks? I'll take breaks more often if that's the case.

Yep ill take week breaks sometimes or not re-up right away. Works wonders

Yeah, it's typical. Although I have noticed that it takes much less time for my tolerance to go back to "normal" after I've had a break.

dang @ that GDP, missing my dispensaries back home when I'm at school.

I've been having some weird chest pain recently, so I think I'm taking a break from vaping for a week to see if I feel better. If I don't, I might go to a doctor. I'm only 19 so the fact that this pain has been on and off for weeks is weird.

Have any of you had chest pain from smoking/vaping?

Never man...been smoking 15 years all methods and this is first I heard of something like this. I don't think it is related so get it checked out ASAP with a doctor.

Took 2+ weeks off from nightly smoking, and just resumed last night. Four hits of Nuken off my PAX 2, and I slept like a baby. Just magnificent.

Having a big-ish group (10 or so) of close friends over to my house to do molly and chill on friday. Can't wait.

I'm considering serving some fruit, as it's the only thing that doesn't taste like shit when you're rolling. Any tips on what to get?

If you guys have good melon now then that is like the most deliciously neutral fruit ever, I think that's why they use it as a palate cleanser.

Pears are the best when high. Especially if you leave them to ripen for a few days. So juicy and tasty. Pineapple is great too.

update: not smoking weed sucks :(

probably for the best, though. getting high every day probably isn't good in the long run.

Depends on how you're ingesting it, I suppose. I switched to vaping because I want to smoke weed for the foreseeable future, and aside from eating it, vaping is the "healthiest" option. It's good to take breaks, too, as tolerance build up is a fucker. I'm taking a break until summer starts both because I want my tolerance to diminish and because weed bores me if I smoke every day. It just becomes habitual and that's not why I smoke.

Mangoes, too, my Crafty brother

I always neglect mangoes. By far my least-eaten fruit. I may have to correct that.

Making ABV hot chocolate today! So excited to see how this goes. The recipe recommends 0.5g of ABV, but I'm gonna use 2g since mine is pretty dark and spent.

I think my chest pain was just a mix of asthma, damaged lungs/throat, getting sick, and allergies

I've tried this multiple times now and no luck. I put in 0.5, 1, and 2 grams and didn't feel anything either time, which was disappointing because I have a naturally low tolerance and expected to get absolutely ruined. It's not even that spent when I dump the trench either, I'd say medium brown with a slight tint of green still. Although I did read that digesting weed is an entirely different ballgame compared to inhaling it, so I suppose it makes sense.

I've just picked up a quarter of the dankest Amnesia Haze, so I'm looking forward to trying again. Think I'm gonna use around 4-5 grams this time. Sucks because it takes me a little while to save up that much ABV, but I guess nothing can be done about it.

Also, you may wanna cooking it in some sort of fatty food or oil beforehand, apparently THC binds to fat molecules making it much more effective. I just mix a little olive oil and peanut butter, make a tin foil parcel and cook it for 30 mins at around 220c. Alternatively I have heard of putting it in the microwave, but it will stink your house out.

Let us know how it goes. :p

Anyone here manage to get an Oculus Rift and try it under the influence?

Nope, but I'm really excited to try it. The added immersion must be incredible. I pray that No Man's Sky gets released on PSVR, that would be the ideal game I imagine.

It was... interesting. The whole process was pretty damn easy, except I spilled 2g of my ABV on the floor :(

I've never had an edible that worked like that hot chocolate - it hit pretty hard within 10 minutes and then just mellowed out. I'd say I was only high for an hour. I might make it again tonight, but use more ABV and make sure to leave it in the thermos for longer, and gently shake the thermos up and down b/c most of the ABV sunk to the bottom, which probably had an effect on the absorption.

Still, pretty cool experience, and it didn't even taste that bad! Like an earthy hot chocolate lol
