i have friends with volcanos. I like them a lot but I'd rather smoke joints/bowls. Just because the act for me isn't that satisfying. I do get just as high although some of my friends say they don't get that high off a vape. It's fucking great for your lungs though. And it doesn't burn all the THC in the weed so you can vape bud and then reuse that weed in a bowl/joint/etc. Great for money saving.

i've used a mflb and a iolite. i preferred the latter for some reason or another, but i haven't used a stationary one, which i've heard produce better effects. the lack of a pungent aroma makes them pretty nice for use in apartments etc. i never tended to get exceptionally stoned off of the things.

smoking hits me more instantly, generally to a greater extent, and i much prefer the ease of passing things around in a group. i prefer smoking in general, really.

For a while, two years ago or so, I was an avid 'vaper' I have two MFLB, an Arizer Q Extreme, I loved the lack of smell, the focused high, they appeal to the gadget nerd in me....but...the high just wasn't the same as a good ol' J, or a bong rip, etc of combustion. So, I eventually went back to combusting, which is counter productive, because I was feeling great from only vaporizing. I discovered dabs about two years ago, and slowly they have become my main way of getting high/medicating. It just cannot be beat(as long as you have properly purged wax, BHO). They also have Vape pens(persei,omicron,cloud,gpen, et al), very much like e cigs, you just load a glob of wax on the heating element, and you have a concentrated dose of marijuana at the press of a button. Pretty sweet for on the go, although I wouldn't recommend a pen as a main device. Get a nice oil rig and titanium nail for home use. Sogood.gif

As far as social vaping, I personally hated trying to explain my MFLB to people(so many charred, wasted trenches) as well as waiting around for my Arizer vaporizer to heat up, and fill the bag. So, that was another reason that led me back to combustion, I usually smoke socially, so the quicker/easier the better. Some oil pens are also tricky and frustrating to explain to the unfamiliar.

I've been giving my new Volcano a bunch of use every time there are guests and the whole big ass bag is quite social.

There are still two scenarios that have not happened yet but WILL happen in any of the upcoming Volcano parties:

- Does the bag explode if you don't stop the air flow?
- Can one person inhale an entire bag of vapor without passing out?

It's a shame there is such a small group of GAFfers here in Madrid. That would make for one hell of a meetup.

The bag will fail eventually, it's not very dramatic however, just a slight pop and then all your vapor escapes.

It's hard to inhale a whole bag, but I've seen it done.

We in Austria almost never smoke blunts, way too expensive. We always use tobacco, but that's just because almost anyone who smokes weed, smokes cigarettes too.

While it's true that hashish is often lazed with shit, there is nice hashish around. The softer it is the better the quality, if you can easily knead it, it's great and it doesn't even taste that bad. If it's good you get way more bang for your buck, the only downside is it doesn't taste that great.

I had an Iolite for some years now. not bad for a portable but i am sure there are better out there now. The thing that bothered me was that you have to use lighter gas. I would rather have a portable vape that uses some kind battery.

with bongs you burn all the herbs which makes it "unhealthier" than lets say a spliff. the water filters most stuff but still you inhale tar and other shit you dont want in your lungs, just less than with spliffs.

Vapes and portable vapes work the same way. they heat up to about 356 °F to 392 °F so all the THC, CBD/CBN, ethereal oils gets vaporized and not burned!

A more "heady" high means more trippy and a more mentaly relaxing high.
While a "body" high is more physically relaxing (muscles, pain relieve, etc.).
A CBD heavy strain will get you that, while usually sativa dominant strains tend to be more of an uplifting high. (higher THC vs CBD ratio). Over the last few years we have seen a lot of interest in CBD heavy strains since medical MJ took off. In the end its all preference if you dont depend on it medically. I prefer and usually smoke more sativa dominant or even 100% sativa stuff. I just dont like getting "stoned" heavily beceause i still want to stay productive while being high.

Yeah thats probably because people/dispensaries now tend to use strains that are faster flowering and higher yielding. Probably because of business decisions and demand. That would be heavy indica dominant strains or indica/sativa hybrids that got back crossed with an indica dominant strain to get more indica dominant phenotypes out of them.
My hazes dont yield as much as every indica dominant strain and they flower for around 16 weeks!! Thats about twice as much time as for the others.
